AlcatrazBy: DarkZen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
We passed this by the first time. The GPSr was reading more than 100' off, and we skimmed over the description. I read Ridge Trail, and figured it must be up on the ridge. After a long circular route on rock climbing trails, we came back to the cache, the GPSr was reading right on, and with the description and hint, the cache was a no-brainer. Thanks!
Golden GateBy: Queen-of-the-Castle Cow Pie Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
The first time, the GPSr was reading way off, and we examined three Golden Gates, none of which was the right one. We came back by here a second time, and the GPSr was in much better shape and the cache was a piece of cake. Thanks!
Castle Rock FallsBy: iwikepie + Super Pig (Team Pig Pie) Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
The PN-40 was last powered up out of the area, and it wasn't able to get lock until we reached the platform overlooking the falls. After that it was fairly easy to find the cache. We first zeroed out at the wrong rock, but that didn't stop us for long. Thanks!
Leaves and moss....are sailing the celestial spaceBy: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Another good hint for a quick find. Thanks!
Toll Road Trail CrossingBy: Michael_SFBA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Here is a trail crossing you miss just driving by. I have a cache near here, but never investigated where the trail goes on this side of the road. Thanks!
"Who leaves the pine-tree, leaves his friend..."By: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I missed this one on the first and second pass by, but eventually looked a little closer. Thanks!
?Mountains are earth's undecaying monuments.?By: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I parked at a wide spot headed into the park, and made a short hike to the cache. Nice weather and nice views this morning. Thanks!

I took off work today for a little hiking, caching and relaxation. This was my first stop. Thanks!
Nature hates calculatorsBy: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I suppose I am cautious about this narrow road, but I parked at a wide spot and hiked down the road to pick up this one. Thanks for the nice hint that made for speedy finding!
Old Gnarly OakBy: Michael_SFBA Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
I turned this into a long hike from highway 236. The section along the creek was particularly nice today. The cache was very exposed to trail hikers, and I made it a little less obvious. Thanks!
Secret Waterman Gap TrailheadBy: Chickasaw Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I would not have noticed the trail crossing here, particularly on the side with the cache, without the cache. Thanks for the waypoint!
Sun Baked BasinBy: Michael_SFBA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
This was my last cache of the day. My legs were tired from hiking, and it was getting near lunchtime, so I headed for my vehicle. Thanks!
"The groves were God's first temples"By: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
The caches do break up this twisty drive. Thanks!
A Tale of Two TreesBy: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I decided to follow the new geotrail on into Big Basin. Since this wasn't the weekend, the amount of traffic was moderate. Thanks!
Get Connect to the SeaBy: Michael_SFBA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
I spotted the hiding spot as I was approaching. I guess I have been caching too much. Thanks!
"What relish is this? How runs the stream?"By: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Micro
I spotted the cache from one side, then retrieved it from the other. Thanks!
Happy St. Patricks Day!!By: Adamski Adventurers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
I looked for piles of rocks for a minute or so, then read the previous logs. Found the decon container shortly after that.
Nature is my medicineBy: NavigatorGurl Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Nice, new looking cache in a nice spot. The only unpleasantness was the pile of carpet pad remnants dumped nearby. Thanks!
