Shaud and jors

5:33 pm - Long ago I did a cache that referenced this one and wondered what this one would be like. Found it in the second spot I looked. I was glad it was a Saturday and no one was around! Thanks.

Fairyland

4:34 pm - We took a walk around the whole lake today and I stopped for this one along the way. I had no idea this was here. TNLN. Thanks!

Oh, Say Can You See?

3:58 pm - Yeah, this is a nice way to see the city and the bay. Easy find, too! Thanks.

The House That Jack Built

3:32 pm - This was the first time I visited this area. We came with a visiting fried from the East Coast. We had no problem finding the waypoints on a nice afternoon walk. Thanks!

Shorebird Sudoku

4:04 pm - We did this one over a breakfast out a few weeks (months?) ago. We finally made it out here to grab it. Thanks!

Quest for the Masks

3:52 pm - This whole series was well done. I read it beforehand and printed out the translation, then forgot it in the printer. I was able to bring it up on my phone though and everything came out OK. Thanks for the fun!

Quest for the Masks: Ga-Wahi

3:32 pm - I liked the attachment on this one. TNLN. Off to the final!

Quest for the Masks: Ko-Wahi

3:20 pm - All these are running together in my head now, but I'm sure I enjoyed it. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 03:20 PM

3:11 pm - Just after I found it I realized where the name came from. Nice hide. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 03:11 PM

Quest for the Masks: Onu-Wahi

3:05 pm - We continued to enjoy this series. Thanks for the nice bike ride!
Posted by jeff at 03:05 PM

Ventana Del Mar

2:46 pm - Whoah, that was tricky. I just managed to grab it. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 02:46 PM

Quest for the Masks: Ta-Wahi

2:35 pm - I could just barely reach this. I tried to make it a bit easier for the next cacher. TNLN. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 02:35 PM

Quest for the Masks: Po-Wahi

2:25 pm - Good hint! Found it with a little looking. TNLN. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 02:25 PM

Mariner Kakuro

2:17 pm - I hadn't heard of this type of puzzle before. I like it better than sudodu - there's a lot less tedium. Thanks for the cache!
Posted by jeff at 02:17 PM

Wide Water View

2:04 pm - Yeah, this would be a nice place to live. Checked a few spots before I found the right one. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 02:04 PM

Quest for the Masks: Le-Wahi

Posted by jeff at 01:44 PM

California Tarantula

6:29 pm - Aaaahh! He bit me! I'm suing!! TNLN.
Posted by jeff at 06:29 PM

Tiny Treasures

3:44 pm - As we approached this one I wasn't sure if we should take the trail up the hill to the right or the lower trail to the left. We went left and that turned out to be be a mistake. Then instead of doing the logical thing and backtracking to the trail, we went straight up the grassy and uneven hill. It was exhausting. At the top was a barbed wire fence which we had to scale. The cache was a mercifully easy find. TNLN. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 03:44 PM

Castle Rock Vista

3:01 pm - Wow, you really put together a nice cacher. It's chock full of great stuff. We TNLN. Great view too!

We took the non-recommended route, but only because we were doing some others. That trail up is quite steep in parts. Thanks for the cache!

Posted by jeff at 03:01 PM

Rock Face Vista

2:35 pm - Apparently we took the long way in to this cache, coming from Diablo SP via the Sunset Trail. Later we decided to take a "shortcut" up over Castle Rock on the way back. It was fun, but exhausting.

The Raptor and Rex patch inside was cool, but we left it there. Thanks!

Two Y's and a V Reborn

2:23 pm - The good news is the cache is still there. The bad news is that new log is soaked. I didn't have a replacement with me, sorry. Thanks for the cache.

Belgatos Parking

7:54 pm - I've been seeing more and more of this type of camo recently and I struggle with them everytime. This one had its own little twist of evil to it. MotorBug helped though and it didn't take too long. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 07:54 PM

BTC3

7:36 pm - This one was tough. We looked on the way in, then again on the way out. I managed to make contact with Kablooey and confirmed he had found it earlier in the day. That meant it was there; it just needed to be found. MotorBug rescued us and finally found that little bugger. It really blends in. We must have looked right at it 10 times. Thanks!

Secret Trailhead #22 - Belgatos

6:54 pm - So simple, yet so evil. I made a little suspicious tug and there it was. Now I have something else to look for near these. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 06:54 PM

Happy Father's Day!

6:37 pm - We looked hard and long for this one, probably too hard. Once we saw it it was all too obvious. Thanks for the cache.
Posted by jeff at 06:37 PM

GOG2 (Nazgul Secret Trailhead #8)

6:21 pm - Nicely done cache. If I hadn't managed to flick off a piece, I probably wouldn't have noticed it. It was tough to get out of it's hole, but MotorBug produced a pocket knife which did the job. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 06:21 PM

Magical Pepper Tree

6:07 pm - My God, it's a freak of nature! MotorBug and I took the trail on the wrong side of the stream at first and had to backtrack. We could have parked much closer. Oh well. Thanks for another Joani special.
Posted by jeff at 06:07 PM

Stairway to Fish Heaven

5:24 pm - I was glad to have MotorBug as a backup on this one though I found OK on my own. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 05:24 PM

Blossoming River Trail

5:14 pm - MotorBug was too fast for me on this one, finding it before I had chance to really look! Thanks for the cache.
Posted by jeff at 05:14 PM

Exit Westfield

5:03 pm - I was inspecting a similar object nearby when MotorBug announced he had found it. Nicely done! Thanks.

Not much of a trail!

11:48 am - I used to roll down the grassy hills here when I was a kid. It's always a nice place for a walk. I failed on my first attempt, then returned to the car to check the hint. I went up the hill and found it. TNLN. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 11:48 AM

Froggie's Webster Cache

11:26 am - Holy moly there were a lot of skeeters here! They were vicious! it took a while for us to find the cache, though I walked right by it when I started to search. We ran back to the car to keep ahead of the mosquitos. Thanks.

Paint me a Nice Cache Location

10:24 am - Well I still haven't figured out what a gas saver cache is, but we found this one without a problem. TNLN. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 10:24 AM

Foot Traffic Welcome

10:18 am - We used the old coordinates and had to fight through the blackberries, only to find we were in the wrong place. We got a few cuts, but found the cache OK. TNLN. Thanks.

Suncook river cache

7:03 pm - We had a lot of fun at the baloon festival this evening. It was cool that you could hang out right on the field while they blew the baloons up and launched them.

This cache was close to where we parked, so we took a little extra walk and introduced my Mom's friend to Geocaching. I think she liked it. TNLN. Thanks!

Liar Liar Pants on Fire

10:27 am - The first cache I solved like this took me months to solve. The second one required a big hint from the owner. The third time I knew just what to do. I took a little walk while my Dad was at the bank and returned just as he finished. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 10:27 AM

Penacook Riverside Park

10:14 am - My Dad had to make a run to the bank so I went along for the ride. He parked in the lot, I looked at my GPS and there was a cache 200 feet away! Some kids were wandering about, but I managed to find it while they were off doing whatever they were doing. Thanks!

P.P. Mock Memorial Forest Cache

5:26 pm - This was the last cache on the loop for me. I didn't quite realize it would be that steep going up. Combine that with a hot day and I was stopping quite often. I found the cache without much trouble. I took nothing and left the Cookie Monster TB.

Surprisingly my cell phone worked here. I know this because my landlord called to let me know that my rent check was apparently lost in the mail. Well, at least I found the cache. Thanks!

Posted by jeff at 05:26 PM

The Mock Multi

5:00 pm - Yeah, it was really hot out here today. We did the loop in the wrong direction too, so I had to backtrack to grab the final. I sent my parents on their way while I ran over. Running served 3 purposes: it created a breeze, it kept the mosquitos from catching me and I saved some time. Nice hide on the final. TNLN. Thanks!

I say Meriwether, are we ready to set out?

4:37 pm - I had never heard of this cipher before, but last night (8/19) I saw it on a TV show where they called it "extremely difficult". Uhh, not quite.

The day was muggy and increasingly buggy as we went on. We couldn't really stop for fear of the mosquitos catching up with us. We eventually found it and rushed off. Thanks for the fun!
