Dreamfarm's Angel

1:17 pm - No luck here. Looked all around, but couldn't come up with it.
Posted by jeff at 01:17 PM

Cable Crossing

12:31 pm - It was a short but thorny climb up to the cache. We followed up the find with a nice walk on the beach out to the point. Great day. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 12:31 PM

Abandoned Oyster Farm

12:09 pm - Lots of oyster shells on the trail here. I found the cache in short order. TNLN. Thanks!

Bottom of Blackney

10:53 am - Quick find while dodging traffic. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 10:53 AM

Eeny meeny miney moe

10:39 am - This was strange. We went over to find the cache and it was just sitting on the end of a picnic table. Everything seemed to be in it so we signed in, left the Little Sadie TB and put it back where we think it was probably hidden. Thanks.

Running Fence

10:28 am - We were wandering through Sonoma County and happened on this cache. Thanks for the historic spot.

Al's Birds Sonoma County Movies 4

10:18 am - Spooky! Another couple pulled up almost at the same time to check out the building, but I was able to find the cache out of sight behind a parked car. Thanks!

The Pack Sonoma County Movies 10

9:45 am - Hmm, never heard of that movie. The cache was easily found while Anne enjoyed the view across the street. Those are some big cliffs. Have to be careful. TNLN. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 09:45 AM

Portuguese Beach

9:34 am - Nice cache. It was foggy all around, but it broke nicely around here. We could see a lot of surfers a bit South. Thanks!

Over or Under

7:19 pm - The toughest part of this one was finding parking amongst all these one-way streets! We finally did and took a moment to check out the bridge. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 07:19 PM

Jolly Green Giant

7:13 pm - I got kinda yucky sticking my hands in places for this one, but eventually I looked in the right spot. I watched kids swimming below as I signed the log. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 07:13 PM

SA Cache Cow

6:06 pm - This cache is an oldie, isn't it? We didn't believe the description that it was 3 miles one way since it appeared less than a mile from the road. It turned out to be about 2 miles roundtrip from Shell Beach. We enjoyed the mostly-uphill hike in this quiet territory. TNLN. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 06:06 PM

Eagle 122

5:43 pm - Bummer, no view today. The clouds rolled in again as we hiked up. Found the cache OK and TNLN. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 05:43 PM

The Fifth Dwarf

5:12 pm - This cache really didn't want to be found. I searched the area several times before I came across it. On top of that, it was quite rusty and tough to open. It was OK inside though and I TNLN. Thanks!

One eyed Willie Sonoma County movies 5

4:42 pm - Booby twaps! I love that movie. I didn't quite recognize the spot, but maybe that just means I have to watch it again. The hint mislead us a bit, but I managed to spot it. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 04:42 PM

Dave - 30

4:26 pm - Yet another great view. I had to wait out some tourists, but found it right away once they left. We had never been to this spot before, so thanks!
Posted by jeff at 04:26 PM

Stop for the Sea Lions and Pelicans

12:39 pm - This is a cool view. Soon after we rented some kayaks and got even closer up to the wildlife. Thanks for ths quick stop!
Posted by jeff at 12:39 PM

Forever Young Sonoma County Movies 8

12:34 pm - Searched up and down with a stick through all the PO and couldn't find anything. Time to relocate this one if it's still there.
Posted by jeff at 12:34 PM

Ocean View Book Swap

12:04 pm - We tried one path and ended up nowhere. We were successful on our second, though there was tons of PO and I'm pretty sure this is where I got the batch I'm suffering through right now. It's not too bad I guess. Nice view from up here. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Trailheads Galore!

6:51 pm - We gambled with parking for the Mountain Play and decided to drive up here to park. A sign at the top of the lot said it was full, but we drove right in and there was a magnificent empty spot. We hustled up to the play and took a roundabout route back to end up here. It worked out well. We sure were tired though. TNLN. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 06:51 PM

Pancakes, not Pantoll

6:36 pm - We had to go a little bit down further than we wanted here, but after the several hours of hiking that preceeded this, it wasn't a big deal. Stinger was too big for the cache so I grabbed him. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 06:36 PM

The Crookedest Railroad in the World

5:43 pm - We were a bit worried that we were going to end up approaching this one from the wrong road. We lucked out and it was only a few feet away. I dodged some PO and grabbed the cache. TNLN. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 05:43 PM

West Point Travel Bug Inn

5:35 pm - Where were all these caches when I did the hike down last year? Not a hard find and picked up the Cookie Monster TB. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 05:35 PM

oolookee!

5:10 pm - I looked for this one for a long time and just couldn't home up with it.
Posted by jeff at 05:10 PM

marin county ape cache

4:53 pm - It was kinda strange up here with all these green rocks. I thought the cache was some kind of flower and then looked closer. Ah, funny. It was definitely pretty soggy in there and I unfortunately did not have anything to replace the log with. I'm not sure it would have been a long-term fix anyway since the container doesn't seem to be waterproof. TNLN. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 04:53 PM

Gateway to Pancakes!

4:37 pm - Oh yeah, nice hide. I needed to fashion a tool to get it out. Thanks for the cache.
Posted by jeff at 04:37 PM

B's Question

4:31 pm - Wow, it's ben a long time since this one was found! We were coming down from the Mountain Play and stopped to grab this one. We were just at the tail end of the crowd heading down so it wasn't too hard to search. There were lots of places to look, but I found it jammed way in there. TNLN. Thanks!

The Shawshank Redemption

Funny, I have an ammo box, but nothing to put it in it! Marky, I'll contact you to figure out how we reunite these.

Pioneers R.I.P.?

7:52 pm - I had time to grab a quick cache before dinner with MotorBug. Yup, this was quick. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 07:52 PM

Mall Death

7:38 pm - Found the cache, but I was unable to sign the log as it was too high.

Something else happened though - someone approached me saying a car had its door wide open and it looked like someone tried to steal it. She asked me to call the police. Luckily there were a bunch of them chatting a block away and I told them to go check it out. Dunno what happened after that.

7:24 pm - Hey, guess what? I've been here too. Well at least now I have. Thanks.

Gone Fishing

4:46 pm - Whoah, there was way too much PO here. Even taking the right trail down (which I missed), there's PO hanging around the cache and it's hard to grab without touching it. I took a good long shower when I got home, so here's hoping I didn't get it.
Posted by jeff at 04:46 PM

TC-No Man's Land

4:15 pm - I don't know if I haven't been eating enough or I'm not used to this heat, but I was completely exhausted when I reached this cache. A good workout for sure, but I thought I was going to pass out.

I looked near the wrong object at first and found a big heavy pipe with straps on it. It looks like some crazy person had used it as extra weight when climbing up the hill.

Back near the coordinates I finally found it. Lots of ticks here for sure, but I managed to get them all off (I think). TNLNSL. Thanks!

Posted by jeff at 04:15 PM

Candy Store

3:40 pm - Funny. Is this what you did to that ammo can I gave you?? TNLNSL. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 03:40 PM

No Cache Here?!

3:29 pm - There were a bunch teenagers close by so I had to be careful, but I think I found it without them figuring out what I was doing. Nice hide. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 03:29 PM

I Love Legos

3:07 pm - I was happy that no one walked by as I was putting together the Legos. "What are you doing?" "Uh, just playing with Legos in the woods."

Some good news - while I was putting them together I found the missing black piece on the ground.

I doubted my set of coordinates at first and tried to brute force the find along the trail. When that didn't work, I went to the coordinates I had solved and found the cache.

TNLNSL. Thanks for the fun!

Posted by jeff at 03:07 PM

Zinfandel 5

2:25 pm - I guess there's no doubt who "owns" this park. Thanks for all the caches!
Posted by jeff at 02:25 PM

Where did all the water go?

2:04 pm - I spent too much time looked in the "standard" Mystery Ink location. Finally I saw something strange and found it. You faked me out good! TNLNSL. Thanks.

Don't Be Left In The Dark

1:54 pm - Because the GPS was sending me all over the place, I spent a long time looking near the sign which I thought fit the title. Expanding my search I saw just a little bit of it. Cute container. TNLNSL. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 01:54 PM

Bat to the Future

1:23 pm - Yeah, my GPS was pretty much useless here. After investigating the "standard" hiding spots throughly I got luck and spotted the hide. TNLNSL. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 01:23 PM

A river runs near it?

1:05 pm - Well I certainly had to leave the trail to grab this one. Thankfully I found it quickly. I cito'd a beer can just inches from the cache. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 01:05 PM

Knee High

12:59 pm - It was nice to finally get back into the shade on this hot day. The GPS was all over the place, but I found it in a logical spot. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 12:59 PM

Picchetti Peacocks

12:51 pm - Lots of good stuff in this cache, but I TNLNSL. Thanks for the hike.

Log This Cache!

12:45 pm - It was really a beautiful day out here but hot and humid. I was thankful for another excuse to take a break. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 12:45 PM

Oak View

12:29 pm - I didn't quite see how to get up here, so I buckwhacked up part of the way. I did see a coyote cross the trail though. It sure was hot up here today! I took a break while I signed the log. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 12:29 PM

Big Blue Birds Lay...

12:16 pm - Wow, I didn't realize my GPS had an icon for winery. I walked up the road and entered in a strange place, but eventually got on the trail and found this cute cache. Thanks!

Horses Can't Read

11:59 am - I was all set this morning for nice solo hike in this park. I made sure I had headphones and the little adapter I need. I loaded a bunch of new music on an SD card. As I started to walk up the trail I realized I forgot to take the SD card out of the laptop! I just had to take nature as my soundtrack today. Lots of up and down in this park, but this one was an easy find. TNLNSL. Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 11:59 AM

Walls of Oak

11:52 am - I took the wrong trail to get around to this one and had to backtrack downhill. Yes, there certainly is a lot of poison oak around here! Thanks!
Posted by jeff at 11:52 AM

Sage View

11:39 am - My socks really didn't appreciate the tall grass here. After finding the cache I had to sit down and remove all the collected stuff. Nice view though. TNLNSL. Thanks.
Posted by jeff at 11:39 AM

Mossy Tree

11:20 am - I walked by here and saw a suspicious spot, but kept following my GPS. In a few seconds my GPS changed its mind and I found it back where I thought it was. TNLNSL. Thanks!
