Went and picked up the remmants of the cache. It seems that the cache vandals took the time to smash the cassette tape case that was in the cache. Very nice. Not sure how they even found it - it was very hard to see in both locations. I've made the cache virtual for now. Maybe someday I'll find a place that's well-hidden enough.

I reclaimed, restocked and relocated the a cache to a less busy area of the park. This location isn't quite at the end of the greenbelt, so I encourage you to continue exploring west of the cache to the end. And please be careful so the cache isn't gutted again!

Took Anne's Mom on this one. Yet another place we never would have known existed. Why is this cache called La Luna?
We finished it just as it started to rain. Left a quarter and took a red and clear bouncy ball. (We really seem to be into this ball theme.)

Had been around here a few times before. Stopped by again with Anne's Mom to grab the cache. The biggest challenge was finding the right approach. In the end it probably didn't matter. Found the cache easily. Forgot our cache stuff bag today, so we left a quarter and took a NASA pencil.

This was our third cache of the day and we were pretty tired. We went the long way around. We had actually been here before but hadn't known that there was a cache. On the way in, one of our bikes got a flat tire, making the return trip interesting. Took globe keychain. Left $1000 and a PEZ dispenser.

'A quick cache before lunch' is what we said one Saturday afternoon. Hah! Spent many hours wandering from park to park in Sunnyvale. Found most of the clues pretty easily, except for EE, which we put in the wrong coordinates and found ourselves wandering around the 3Com headquarters - oops! Didn't figure this out until after we gave up and went home very hungry. Tried to finish this up the next day. Found the X, but couldn't find the cache. Ran out of time and aborted for the day.
Tried again this weekend and were stimied on our first attempt by the presence of some cops trying to get some hunters who were shooting birds. Came back later after biking out to Rebecca Cat Cache and still couldn't find the cache near the X.
We were giving up and going home when we found the REAL X, very tatterred and barely recognizable. Found the cache soon after and we were relieved to have this one finally done!
Took the Star Wars Yoda/Darth Vader cube and left a very apropo Sun pin.

Our first cache of the day on what turned out to be a long day of biking. Wandered through Alviso on the way - strange place! Started out from the wrong place and ended up biking a long way on the levees. It was very windy and our bikes were getting pushed around and sprayed with water. Saw some Canadian Geese and had fun disturbing hundreds of seagulls who were lounging on the paths. Got within .6 miles of the cache when we found ourselves at a dead end. Had to turn back and take a different turn. Waved at the Amtrak passengers. Finally found the place we should have started at and found the virtual cache easily. Took a picture of the bush and visited the platform and building before we left.
