Pulpit Rock

Took my Mom on this trip - her first cache. The 2 feet of snow made this interesting. Had to read the clue to find the first waypoint, but it was easier from there. Found some deer nests in the snow on the hill near the cache and lots of deer tracks. Batteries in the GPS died after the 2nd waypoint. Good thing we brought the digital camera and were able to exchange the batteries. Lots of trudging through the snow! We were pretty happy that the cache was not covered with snow. Took the Cow-lick and shiny rock and left a jumping Mario toy and a Ren (of Ren and Stimpy) head. Didn't actually go to Pupit Rock. Maybe next time!

To Be Continued

This was a tough one for us; we didn't have the page, so we did it using the coordinates only. When we finally got there, someone else was looking for it too. So we went back today and found the well-hidden cache. We didn't get a chance to take or leave anything as more people were coming. Busy place.

The Cuesta Quest

Our 5th cache and the first one that Anne found first! Cool area with interesting trees. Left a bottle popper and and took a tennis ball. We seem to be a on a ball theme with things that we take!

Atari

This was our first cache. Took a while to find even though we were at that spot multiple times. Took the random bouncy ball and left $150.00!! :-)

Where Fools Rush In

Great location for a cache!! Parts of the trail on the way in were washed out or piled high with debris- made it more interesting!! We didn't take anything, but left some stickers.
