The Authoritative List of Apple Watch Specs

Since Apple hasn’t put together a comprehensive list of specs for the Apple Watch, I thought I’d throw them together based on the information collected from Apple.com and other sources.

  1. 12 – 14 hour battery life should be a minimum. Not sure Apple revealed everything. I think they revealed enough to highlight differentiation:
    1) Highly customizable with jewelry class materials
    2) Payments with biometric enforcement
    3) Interface mechanisms (crown and force touch)
    4) Quick communications that should also appeal to younger generations that dont wear watches

The unknowns to me (that are exciting)
    – modular S1 package and its potential for other wearable devices (+ potential modular upgrades)
    – internet-of-things integration
    – gradual move towards independence but component of ecosystem (e.g. Hand-off etc.)
