9:04 am - This is University Bridge or Eastlake Ave Bridge in Seattle, Washington. It bridges the Capitol Hill area with the U district, home of the University of Washington over Lake Union. I used to hate getting stuck in traffic behind this bridge, but it is a pretty cool drawbridge.
I was at a wedding nearby when I saw the bridge going up, so I got some shots of the action. The next morning I went to get some close-up shots of the bridge and mark the coordinates.
