Mr. Ranger's view from work

12 pm - There was some kind of event with people and dogs going on at the parking near gate A, so we drove on and found some legal parking a little way past gate B. At least 3 other people thought it was legal.

We made our way up to the road and the water tower. Trail closed. $1000 minimum fine. OK, so we went back down and took the main path up. Got within a quarter mile again when we were stopped by another chain threatening a $1000 fine. What the heck is going on up there?

We couldn't see a way to get to this one with the trails being closed, so I guess we'll try again some other time. Posted by jeff at February 22, 2004 12:00 PM
