DiNardo SP\/RP \tMay 22 \t60-day \tNeck strain<br \/>\n<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Which made me wonder &#8211; what the heck does a 15-day disabled list mean when someone&#8217;s been on it since May? <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Disabled_list\">Wikipedia<\/a> to the rescue:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There are two types of DL: the 15 day and the 60 day (previously there was also a 21 day DL). Players may be put on either list and may not rejoin the team until the associated number of days has elapsed. However, a player&#8217;s time on the DL may exceed the specified number of days.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ll finally see my first game of the season Tuesday night when the A&#8217;s play the Red Sox.
