As of this weekend, I broke into the top 10 Geocachers in the Bay Area<\/A> based on number of cache finds. I don’t think it’s really about how many caches you’ve found, but I like the concept of ‘collecting’ things.<\/p>\n

I doubt I’ll ever get higher than #10 as the people above me are all more obsessive than me and there are some below me on a much more agressive pace. <\/p>\n

Still, it’s fun to think with 1612 caches found I’m in the top 75 in the world. <\/p>\n

So what does 1612 geocaches look like? I recently wrote some code to see, using GPSBabel<\/A> and the Tiger Map Service<\/A>.<\/p>\n
