Bronze and Stone - Nashua Edition

11:50 am - Well, they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I'm flattered!

A relative of mine told me about this cache modeled after mine, so I just had to check it out next time I was in the area. I found all the waypoints yesterday, but by the time I got them all and did some other caches along the way it was too dark to get to the cache. Not that I didn't try of course, but I started on the wrong side of the river and decided that was enough caching for the day.

The cache was in a good spot for collecting a bunch of other caches though, so I went out the next morning to claim a bunch. They were all quite tough though with plentiful tree cover and lots of leaves. All the water around here sure plays tricks on you too.

I wandered quite a bit for this one until I finally found it, with my coordinates indicating it should be elsewhere. I let my GPSr average for a bit, and the coordinates ended up only 5 feet away. So I guess they're OK. :-)

TNLNSL. Thanks for the history lesson and fun! Posted by jeff at November 27, 2004 11:50 AM
