Three Dancing Maidens

By: Sierra Hikers Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

While Mrs. niraD was busy at the Crowne Plaza with the CCB convention, I decided to drop by for this virtual cache. I never would have found this sculpture without this virtual cache to point it out. Thanks for detailing its history. I'll keep my trackable sig token for this virtual cache moving. FWGB, TFTC!

I hate I-5, So let's travel a different way!

By: Uncle Al from Sacramento Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

This afternoon, our minivan had problems with the charging system. My wife and I left it at Brook's Complete Auto Repair, then walked over to this park. This was a beautiful spot for lunch. Then my wife stayed here and read, while I set off to DNF a nearby cache. [:I] An hour or so later, Brook's called to let us know that our minivan was ready! I will keep my trackable sig token for this virtual cache moving. TNLNSL, TFTC!

'C' Is For Cave Dwellers

By: Buxley Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Virtual

I came to Pinnacles National Monument for an employer-sponsored camping trip, and picked up this virtual cache towards the end of the day. I hiked through the caves first, in the downstream direction. Then I passed by the coordinates for this virtual cache on the way to the Rhyolitic Breccia and Banded Rhyolite Earthcache, which was my last cache before heading back to camp. I think it would have been more difficult to hike through the caves in the upstream direction, given that the creek flowing along the path through the cave was several inches deep in places. I'll keep my trackable sig token for this virtual cache moving. TFTC!

Historic Homes

By: The Plunketts Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

My wife and I drove down to Salinas for Mother's Day, and went for a walk around the downtown area with my mom after dinner. We've had lunch at waypoint #2 before, and knew a fair bit about it, but I'd forgotten enough that I could relearn something from the plaque by the front door. On our walk we stopped to smell the roses at a beautiful brick home in the neighborhood. I left my sig token for this virtual cache at the next cache I found. Thanks for the history lesson, thanks for the excuse for a walk, and TFTC!
