GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit-Turtle Bay Park

By: Groundspeak Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from a group camping trip at Lake Siskiyou with others from our church, and spent the afternoon exploring the maze exhibit, finding the keyword caches hidden at Turtle Bay Park as part of the maze exhibit, and exploring a few of the other exhibits at the Turtle Bay Museum. The GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit was interesting, even though the geocaching-related information was very familiar to me. I'll keep my trackable sig token for this exhibit moving. TNLNSL, and discovered a bunch of trackables. TFTC!

Party Central in the 80's

By: NummyAndTasty Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

My wife and I stopped at the GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit on our way home from a group camping trip at Lake Siskiyou with others from our church. As we were leaving Turtle Bay Park, I dropped by to find this cache. When I reached GZ, a security guard dropped by and we talked about the history of the site for a while. I enjoy discovering historical sites like this. After he left, I expanded my search radius a bit and came up with the cache. TN, L my trackable sig tokens, SL. Three Strikes & You're Out

By: djmom11, mizzadventure Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

My wife and I have been camping at Lake Siskiyou on a group camping trip with others from our church, and drove over to Ms. Lynn's Tea for lunch today. After lunch, I dropped by to search for this cache. This was the first container of this type that I've found, and it took me a few moments to figure out how to open it. Interesting... I hope the container holds up to the weather. T daveydude sig item and stalkernoctem182 sig item, L foreign coins and my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Historical Yreka

My wife and I have been camping at Lake Siskiyou on a group camping trip with others from our church, and drove over to Montague to have lunch at Ms. Lynn's Tea today. After lunch, we drove over here to visit the museum, but arrived just before closing time. Next year, we'll have to check their hours beforehand. Instead, we walked along this trail, and I took a few moments to find this nicely hidden cache. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Lake Siskiyou for a group camping trip with others from our church, and I took the opportunity to find this cache. These olive groves are nice places for rest-stop caches. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!
