Biking into 2007 #3

By: n2books2 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

After a hike at the SFBNWR, I decided to grab a few more quadrangles for the BAQC. This one was a challenge. First, I had to return to the cache I found before this one to retrieve my printout of the cache info. [:I] Then it turned out that the streets near this cache don't appear in the map on my (admittedly obsolete) GPSr. But eventually, I found my way here, where I found this cleverly hidden cache surprisingly quickly. Swapped Blanston12 SMBs, T Chloe 2006 (Chloethedog) sig token, L shamrock toy and my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

DT21 & FW @ 10K

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 5.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

After finding a couple puzzle finals and picking up a few more quadrangles for the BAQC, I decided it was time to try to grab the final for this one. After all, it has been near the top of my "nearest to home" list since it was published almost 2 years ago. The hard part was finding it the second time: As I was replacing the blinker, I dropped it on the ground. [:O] Walking back to my car, I met one of the previous finders, who lives in the neighborhood. We had a nice chat. TNLNSL. (I signed the next available space on the front of the log, although there are already several signatures on the back of the log.) I'll keep my trackable sig token for this nano-cache moving. Thanks for the challenge, and TFTC!

Long Distance

By: Fremont Claassens Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I solved the puzzle quite some time ago, but haven't been in the area when I could stop since then. Today, I came across the bay for a hike at the SFBNWR and dropped by for the quick find. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. A Test

I solved this clever puzzle quite some time ago. Today, I came across the bay for a hike at the SFBNWR and dropped by for the quick find. Fortunately, I had the place to myself today. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTP TFTC!

Wickedly Retired

By: Runnerinwoods Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This one popped up at the top of my "nearest to home" list (even when not ignoring finds), so I dropped by this morning on my way to work. I found it quickly, thanks to the excellent coordinates. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

WoW's Polymer Clay Workshop V

What a great opportunity to make my new sig tokens! I'd like space to work, but I can let someone else take a spot for instruction.

On the Road Again

By: Maintenance_Man! Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This was a beautiful morning for a bike ride before work, and so much about this cache felt oh so familiar: the puzzle, the solution, the hide... TNLNSL. I will keep my trackable sig token for this nano-cache moving. TFTC!

Procrastinator's Stash

By: Fyrfly Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Other

This was a great cache to end a dry spell of 3.5 weeks: camo ammo! (Nice camouflage at stage 1, and a nice ammo box at stage 2.) And this was a beautiful morning for a bike ride. One of the digits was a bit ambiguous at stage 1, so after finding stage 2, I re-inked stage 1 with my Sharpie. Swapped digitalfish. T Duckey Lee 2008 sig token, L "Pamet River (MA)" Red Jeep Travel Bug, a reindeer toy, and my trackable sig tokens, SL. The Purple Heart

By: boulter Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

This was a beautiful morning for a bike ride before work, and I managed to find this one without earning a geocaching Purple Heart on the nearby thorns. The closest I've come to a geocaching-related injury was a case of poison oak a couple years ago. But I'm not even sure that was geocaching related, since I have no idea where I contacted the stuff. Sorry, but that's the best story I can offer... TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!
