Suburban Crop Circles

By: jasmerb Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This one showed up at the top of my "nearest to church" list, so I grabbed it on the way to work. As expected, it was a quick find in the obvious location. TNLNSL. I'll keep my trackable sig token for this nano-cache moving. TFTC!

I guess I just wasn't meant to find this one this morning. First, I miscounted the letters in a word and ended up almost on top of another cache, with the GPSr pointing well over "a foot or so off the path".

So I returned to the information panel, found my error, and set off for the new coordinates. That seemed like a much more logical place, but I came up empty. I returned to the information panel again to recheck my answers, didn't find any more errors, and returned to sea rch my second location again. Still nothing. Now that I'm logging it, it seems that I was working from old data. [:(] I hate it when that happens. Still, it was a pleasant morning to ride along the baylands...

Electric Lizard

By: oneangrypuppy and frivlas Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I had a pretty good idea how the cache would be hidden, and I was right. But first I found a CITO opportunity hidden in that manner [:O], and then a utility worker came over and asked me if I was looking for one of those "geocache things". Apparently, he has discovered a few of them during his work. And apparently, I am not as stealthy as I thought. Anyway, I then found the cache without much more trouble. It is very nicely constructed! I will keep my trackable sig token for this nano-cache moving. TNLNSL, TFTC!

Beginner's Luck

I was in the area, so I dropped by for this one before work. My wife and I used to live in Escondido Village. Anyway, the container is no longer waterproof, and should be replaced. But it was cool to see such a large cache here, with a log that goes back to the FTF! TN, L my trackable sig tokens, SL. TFTC!

Somewhere in the Baylands

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This was a quick find, in the first place I searched. Okay, so I didn't find it the first time I looked there, but it didn't take me long to search that place again, more carefully and more successfully. This is a very nice "somewhere" cache, and today was a beautiful morning in the baylands before work. I'll keep my trackable sig token for this nano-cache moving. TNLNSL, TFTC!

This was a beautiful morning for a bike ride along the baylands. Thanks for bringing me out here. BTW, the encrypted hint no longer matches the current hide style, but it should still be an easy find. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!
