13,000 Vehicles Daily

By: virtualdavid Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

After finding a couple nearby caches, I revisited this one to drop off the To Palo Alto, CA 1 TB. While I was here, I traded some stickers for the CasinoCanines sig token.

Southgate Orienteering

By: virtualdavid Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I helped To Palo Alto, CA 1 reach its goal, but it didn't fit in the container for its home cache. This was the closest cache I could think of that is big enough for it, so I returned to drop the TB here.

Southgate Orienteering

By: virtualdavid Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

This was a fun one before work, and I met the owner (another bicycling commuter) while I was logging it. I didn't use a compass though--just a map. T Merry and Pippin TB, L carnival toy and my trackable sig token, SL. Thanks for the tour of the neighborhood, and TFTC!

Tick-Tock Bus Stop

By: runnerinwoods Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I was running an errand nearby, so I stopped to grab this one before work. I was thinking, "Ho, hum, another bus-stop cache..." but the design and construction of this one turned out to be very cool. Very well done! I wouldn't have been able to find it if there had been muggles about though. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. Afterwards, I spent a moment appreciating the nearby sculpture. TFTC!

Rosie's Coloring Cache

By: Rosie the Kitten & her Dad Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

This was a fun one. I was at the park for a group BBQ, and decided to grab this cache while waiting for the party to get going. Someone had written the word "ZOOM" next to a picture of a rocket ship, so I drew a picture of someone I know, for whom the word "ZOOM" is also appropriate. TN, L a pencil and my trackable sig token, SL. After returning the cache, I did a little CITO. TFTC!

Baylands Grove

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This was a quick one. I was at the park for a group BBQ, and decided to grab this cache after the party had broken up, but before I could actually leave. The coordinates and description were perfect, and I found it in the first place I checked. It did take me a few moments to figure out how to check that place though... BTW, it's worth taking a little care to make sure you've replaced it properly. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Noble Steed

By: cth+js Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I dropped by for this one before work. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. I used to live just a couple blocks from this park, but never explored this end of it until now. Thanks for bringing me here, and TFTC!

Ramos

By: gashog Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

My second FTF! This one showed up on my "nearest to church" list last night, so I dropped by this morning shortly after dawn (when the park opened). Rocket Girl and I approached GZ together, and then searched for the cache independently. Clearly, we had both read the hint. SMILIE Eventually, I rechecked a spot tha t we had both examined previously and came up with the find.

The previous cache in this corner of the park was more fun, but this one is much less likely to be muggled. TN, L CA wooden nickle WN52928 and my trackable sig token, SL. Thanks for the FTF and TFTC!

Juana Multicache?

By: ChipnDonna Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

My wife used to work at Juana Briones school, but this (very nice) mural wasn't here back then. The cache itself was a quick find. I peeled off the label with the scary warnings, but the standard decon-container warnings embossed on the lid are still there. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

I-Park Shortcut

By: ChipnDonna Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I used to commute along this path every day. Thanks for bringing me back here for this quick find. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Cornelis Bol Park Booty II

By: ms piglet Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I enjoyed searching this location much better than that of the original Cornelis Bol Park Booty cache. And my search was much more fruitful! TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Something's Fishy

By: MtnMike Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

We dropped by to feed the fish on our way back to Lake Siskiyou. This was a quick find. T digitalfish #6705, L digitalfish #5807 and my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Rainbow Valley Dairy

By: Skooter & The Backseat Boys Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

My (avowed muggle) wife and I rented a canoe and paddled across Lake Siskiyou for this cache. The container is no longer an ammo box, as indicated in the cache description. There was no stash note, but I was unprepared to leave one. TN, L a pencil and my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Yreka's Covered Bridge

By: chinookcapt Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

We were in Yreka to ride the Blue Goose, so I stopped for this quick find before we drove back to Lake Siskiyou. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Whistle Stop

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This was a quick find after an enjoyable ride to Montague and back on the Blue Goose. It's good to be able to ride it again! TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Lemurian Hideaway

By: redvoodoo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

CITO to the rescue! Muggles will ignore you anywhere, as long as you're picking up trash. This was a quick find after lunch at the Black Bear. Even though it's a very short "hike", I might have rated the terrain 3 stars: "Not suitable for small children." Anyway, the inside of the container was wet, so I dried it and the stash note, but the log was dry inside its ziplock bag. T PatNanz token, L seashell and my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

Bryant Street Bridges

By: girlyQ Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Like others, I've ridden past this location many times before. Fortunately, it wasn't too busy when I dropped by this morning. I liked this hide, and as a bonus, I got to check up on the progress of the nearby construction project. T CA wooden nickle WN52928 and a Fimo token, L seashell and my trackable sig tokens, SL. I also dipped To Palo Alto, CA 1 as it travels around Palo Alto. TFTC!
