Small park, regular cache

By: yungman Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I was in the area, so I dropped by to pick up this cache. I had this nice little park to myself. The stash note is tattered, and the preprinted spaces on the log were full. I signed on the back of the last log sheet. TN, L trackable niraD sig token, SL. TFTC!

Digits

By: PhilippeGPS (now managed by WeBeDnD) Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

What a beautiful way to start a morning! This one has been on my "nearest to home" list for quite a while, and I solved it a few months ago. But the cache itself is a fair distance from home, so I ended up saving it for a special occasion. I made a special trip for this one "on the way to work" this morning; it was my 350th find. I saw PO along the way, but found a route to the cache that avoided it. (At least, I hope I did... 8-/ ) The cache itself was a quick find once I reached GZ. I also managed to reassemble the "8 Ball" puzzle after foolishly takin g it apart; I left it for the amusement of the next lucky cacher. Thanks for the fun puzzle, and TFTC!

Hail Caesar

By: The Rat Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I solved the puzzle quite a while ago. Yesterday I dropped by to find the cache, but I misremembered the landmarks from the satellite photos. I couldn't find legal access to the location I was trying to get to, but that's just as well, given that it was the wrong location. I realized my mistake after rechecking the satellite photos. Today I dropped by again while running errands. Armed with my GPSr this time, I easily found the correct location and the cache. I had to catch up to the rest of my group (I'm the only geocacher among them), so I decrypted the hint right away. At the first branch in the main path, they left stones arranged in an arrow. Thar She Blows

By: pamarler Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

This was a quick find after spending a few hours at the nearby maritime museum (highly recommended, BTW). It was also my first find with my new GPSr, and my first find with a GPSr since the weekend I was introduced to geocaching. I tried to dry out the log in the sun, but it's still damp. Also, the container is too small to be a "regular" size cache. TN, L trackable niraD sig token, SL. TFTC!

By: Bob & Elliecat Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This one showed up at the top of my "nearest to work" list, and tonight I finally dropped by to pick it up. The sandwich-size container looked more like a "small" than a "regular" to me. This kind of semi-disposable container tends to leak, and there was no stash note, so I left a waterproof stash note and log sheet. I don't normally log multi-cache reconnaissance trips (where I visit only the non-final stages), however today's ride to and through the baylands was so beautiful that I felt I had to post a note. Thanks for the excuse for both the ride and the walk (along the boardwalk)! Anyway, I found all the first 3 stages easily. I'll try to get back for the final later this month.
