The Street With Two Names

By: colingregory Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I decided to go for a bike ride this afternoon, and this is one I was able to find. Thanks

Element #50

By: GeekDad Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I saw this section of the Los Gatos Creek Trail on a Google map and I decided to go for a little bike ride this afternoon. The hint made it a straightforward find. Thanks!

Lost Empire Creek Crossing

By: ECP and The Dark One Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

I remembered the travel bug I picked up on my last hike and decided to drop it here. The Unnecessary Bushwacking coin looked interesting, so I decided to take it and move it along. Thanks!

Big Ben

By: Kealia Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I hit here just before noon on a long hike around the park. I decided to sit right here and have my little snack before continuing. Thanks!

Lost Camp

By: Kealia Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

I knew I would make it out here someday. I didn't really plan on doing it today, but that's the way it worked out. I took the grand tour of Fall Creek, hitting the lime kilns, Barrel Mill, Lost Camp, and Big Ben. Thanks!

"When a Body Steals a Body ..."

By: Young Sumtinsteen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

It was my every-other Friday off, and I stopped by here just before heading into Fall Creek.

Fran ?s Bridge

By: peigimccann and robertburns Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I parked at the main Fall Creek lot and hiked over to this entrance for the first time. Thanks!

Fall Creek is Here!

By: ECP and The Dark One Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I think there was a different trailhead cache the last time I came to Fall Creek a few years ago. Thanks!

Forest Sacrifice

By: ynots4 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

My GPSr was not particularly close, but there were a limited number of items in the area that matched the hint. I looked through the log book for the signature of the previous finder, stingray306, but it was nowhere to be found. Thanks!

3 Oaks & A Hanger Along Charcoal Road

By: WERDAVE Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Fancy schmancy! The cache lid screws down on a nice o-ring, so this should remain water tight. I took the travel bug since the cache doesn't get a lot of visitors. Thanks!

A Secret Trailhead Log?

By: WERDAVE Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I guess I came down here because I was reluctant to leave a nearby cache unfound. The cache was an easy enough find with the hint. Thanks!

Manzanita Suprise

By: Team Wendycat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

The flies were already annoying this morning. I tried to shake them with a fast pace, but they easily kept up with me. Thanks!

Black Bird Singing in the Dead of Night

By: Team Wendycat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro

I spotted this one right away. He looks a little worn, but is still doing the job. Thanks!

Shortcut to the Past?

By: WERDAVE Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I took advantage of the log to eat my little snack of cashews and have some water. I knew it would be a long slog up the road. Thanks!

It wasn't really missing!

By: WERDAVE Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

The cache was in the open, a few inches from where it should have been. I guess an animal pushed it out of the way. The cache was in great shape, like all the caches have been today. I put it back where I thought it should have been, then turned around and started hiking back. The trail seems a bit steeper now that I was going up. Thanks!

A Rotten, Mossy Stump

By: WERDAVE Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I now know why it's named the Charcoal Road. You get barbequed on the way up. I hadn't looked at my GPSr in a while, but I spotted the item in the cache title, and found the cache without zeroing in with the GPSr. Thanks!

Sugar Foot Bill

By: Team Wendycat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I got back from vacation in Michigan yesterday, but I took one more day before going back to work. I knew it was going to be a warm one today, so I planned a hike that would have lots of tree cover. This was my first cache of the morning. Thanks!

A Madrone, A Small Log, A cache

By: WERDAVE Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

The coordinates got me close enough, and the hint made it a quick find. Thanks!

3 Trunks, one Rotten

By: WERDAVE Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I got back from vacation yesterday, but took today to adjust to the time change, do some chores, and a little caching. I spotted the right area for the cache quickly, but had to examine a little closer to spot the cache. Thanks!

Goin' Fishin'

By: Halanski Expeditions Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

We came down here a couple days ago to launch my brother's boat, but the old battery only turned over the engine a few times before it died. We hauled the boat back out for a recharge at the cottage. Today, I hiked over from our rental place to grab the cache. Thanks!

4 wheelin fun

By: MSUTandem Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Not chosen

This cache was close enough to the other two in the area that I just hiked over to grab it. Thanks!

platte lake

By: wmfranke Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

We just got into our rental place on Platte Lake and I decided to take a short walk across the street to find this one. It looks sturdy and waterproof. Thanks!

The Sister Lakes Monster

By: Tsmola Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Mrs. Bytemobile and I were on our way to Dewey Lake to visit my college roommate and made time for this one. I grew up in the area and remember the monster stories from back in the 1960's. Thanks!

UPandOUT

By: elliottpd Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I taped up the container lids and added an inner container for just the log. Hopefully it will stay dry for a while. The cache has lots of trinkets for trade.

Have it your way

By: kalkavekkian Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I took a short walk from where we were staying a Surfari Joe's and went for this one. I was expecting a lamp post hide, but it turns out there was a little hike through the weeds and up the hill. It turned out OK. Thanks!

Lasalle Slept Here

By: Shamrock Bones Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

Today there was a big crowd on the bluff, with a bunch of antiques on display. Mrs. Bytemobile shot a picture of me on her iPhone during a gap in the passing humanity. Answer is on the way. Thanks!

Open House #5

By: Spankysgang1954 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Mrs. Bytemobile and I took a walk along the riverfront after having lunch in downtown St. Joe and seeing the antique show spread out along the bluff. No problem spotting this one. Thanks!

P.P.S.S # 16 THE NEW IMCPL

By: cachebicyclingsanta Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This was my first visit to the downtown area and I had a good walk around. Thanks!

Homework Assignment #4

By: bracelet lady and Rocket Hunters Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I had a good walk around the downtown area, and found a few caches. Later, we had a nice visit with relatives that we hadn't seen in many years. Thanks!

On the Second Day of Christmas

By: tallulahtulip and seekersearcher Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

We flew into Indi last night at B & B in a downtown neighborhood. I was out before 8 am, took a little walk on the Cultural Trail, and made this my first Indiana cache. Thanks!
