Lost trail at Long Ridge

By: shawberger Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen

The trail had some snow and ice along it this morning. The ice was a benefit in some places, because the mud was gooey and slippery in other places. The cache was easy enough to find, but getting the log out was another matter. I swore I will add a pair of tweezers to my geocaching kit, as well as swore a few other things. Thanks!

Fullam's Navigator

By: peigimccann Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

We were heading up to Davenport today, so I had a look at the caches that didn't involve a hike, and I came up with this one. The solution was straightforward enough. I don't spend a lot of time on puzzles these days. I was surprised that this one didn't have more finders. Thanks!

Wilder Ranch: Secret Trailhead

By: WildZen and Secret Cow Pie Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

My GPSr was pointing to another possible hide, but we eventually got it right. Thanks!

Horses Take The Stage: Wilder Trailhead

By: DarkZen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Mrs. Bytemobile and I were heading up to Davenport for a little whale watching before birthday lunch for her Dad. This near enough to Hwy 1 so I could stop and grab quickly. Thanks!

Secret Trail Head: Four Mile Beach (Revisited)

By: 50sumtin Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

It took a few minutes of looking around, but I eventually came up with it. Thanks!

By: El OscuroZen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Know hardly any Spanish, so I just relied on the excellent coordinates. No problem spotting it. Thanks!

Bud's Bay

By: His Hiking Buddies Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I have been carrying around the Snoopy Love Bug in my pack, ever since I picked it up in Hawaii near the Green Sand Beach. I finally remembered to drop it, and this looks like a good spot. The cache is in great shape. Thanks!

HPUW2--Big Rock Hole

By: Mayela Mingi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

No problem finding it once I was here. It was a pretty good hike getting here, though. I wrote the clue in my notepad, but I'm not sure I ever get around to wanting it. Thanks!

Above the S Curve

By: dBASED Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

This is the type of cache I like -- lots of hiking, but not lots of finding time. Thanks!

Still above the S Curve 1

By: dBASED Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Interesting area that I haven't been to before with steep drop offs on both sides. Thanks!

Tale of the Rings

By: DarkZen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

This was so near the parking lot that I couldn't resist having a look for it. Not much of a problem finding it and few muggles today. Thanks!

Up to above the S curve

By: dBASED Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

My GPSr was 60 feet off or so, but it was easy enough to find. Thanks!

Ghost of Christmas Path

By: TinyTimPie and DarkScrooge Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I was alone so far this morning and had just started looking for this one when a hiker and dog came up the path. I was surprised to see anyone else out here. Thanks!

Inauguration Day

By: Seacliffchicas Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This is one you have to find with your hands as well as your eyes. The log is pretty well worn and could use a bit of freshening up. Thanks!

The Stairs @ Seacliff Beach - Secret Trailhead

By: DarkZen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

There were folks sitting in a couple of the parked cars, so I didn't want to look too "unusual", although that might be hard to do around here. Luckily, the cache was a piece of cake, and I handled the find and sign fairly quickly. Thanks!

DraCOWla's '09 Halloween Hide

By: Count DraCOWla Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I didn't realize there were trails back here. No problem finding the cache. In fact, I left it covered slightly better than I found it. Thanks!

Los Conquistadores 2

By: ToddnLiz Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I hiked over from New Brighton for this one. I believe I have found a cache in this park once before. No problems finding it. The tree climber who found it wrote kind of large, but the cache is otherwise fine. Thanks!

Child Of A Broken Home

By: DragonsWest Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen

This was cute. I think that it has lasted this long is a testament to how few folks happen by here. Thanks!

We Love you Bro, Memorial Cache

By: Robert-Nunes Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

With a trip out to the pier, I figured out the coordinates of the final -- a couple hundred feet from where my trailer was parked. It was happy hour, though, and I decided to wait until the first thing Saturday morning. Thanks!

Secret Trailhead: New Brighton

By: DarkTrail and Heady Pie Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This is a trailhead that I didn't know existed, having camped at both New Brighton and Seacliff many times. Thanks!

By: Sunny Pie Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I continued my hike back toward Seacliff SB, and got this while heading out the entrance. Thanks!

Ugliest Cache Page Ever!!

By: FuglyZen and OH MY! Pie Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I think the cache page looks much better on my 62s. After this cache, I headed over to a nearby clearing to see what was sitting there. It was a couch, a fire pit and lots of trash and bottles. I think someone must have parties here. Thanks!

Micro Wavy

By: The Saints Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

We had our travel trailer parked at Seacliff SB, so I decided to get some exercise by hiking down the beach for this one. No problems finding it. The replacement log and little baggie have been holding up quite well. Thanks!

Disgruntled Newt

By: DarkZen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Creative looking camo! Thanks!

Seacliff Rocks!!!: Sea-cret Trailhead

By: Rockin' Zen and Rollin' Pie Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

The cache camo works quite nicely, so I spent a little while looking around. I made an early stop here, so no problem looking around. Thanks!

Strindberg + helium

By: DarkZen Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I hiked by here early Saturday morning before the traffic could get too busy. No problem finding. Thanks!

Stairway to the Stars!

By: DarkComet and Starry-Eyed Pie Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen

With the explicit hint, I should have been able to go straight for the cache. I looked around a bit, and finally came up with it. It was a good day for looking around. You could see forever over the ocean. Thanks!

Seacliff State Beach: Secret Trailhead

By: DarkWave and BeachyPie Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I was on my bike, having set up the travel trailer at Seacliff SB. It had been a while since we camped here, so there were lots of new caches to go after. Thanks!
