Good coordinates, and a straightforward find. The weather was beautiful today, and we had great view of the Monterey Bay. Thanks!

I wasn't sure by reading the cache page whether this was supposed to be hard or easy, but Wirebndr spotted it with no problem after the GPS got us there. Thanks!

Wirebndr and I probably spent the most search time on this cache. Finally, he suggested that we try a different perspective and we came up with it soon after that. Thanks!

This was our last find of the day, after hiking the main trail, plus a few side trails around the park. The cache was nicely constructed. Thanks!

Wirebndr and I didn't have a map of the park, but had a photo of the map that was on the gate at the start of the hike. We studied that when I appeared that we would miss this cache. We ended up retracing our steps on the main trail a little way and taking a side trail. No problem spotting or retrieving the cache. Thanks!

The was the first cache on a hike with Wirebndr on a nice day with great views of the Monterey Bay. Thanks!

I wouldn't say that this is right along the trail now. The cache must have been repositioned after the tree came down. The cache is easy enough to find if you're in the right spot, but the coordinates aren't right on. Thanks!

We tried one trail, then tried another and came back to the first one. The bushes have grown enough to touch in the middle of the trail, but you can still push through if you pick the right path. I found someone's smartphone in the middle of the path, quite near the cache. I would be happy to turn it over to the owner, but it isn't much good right now, waterlogged, rusty, and with run down battery. I wasn't able to power it up, but will try to dry it out and charge it.

Just as I was approaching the cache, some surfers drove up to check out the waves. I continued by and picked up the cache a few minutes later. Thanks!

I was out and about early from my campsite at Sunset Beach. A lot of bicyclists were also out early this Sunday morning. No problem locating and signing. Thanks!

I believe this is the first time I have stopped at this beach, although I have been by lots of time over the years. Thanks!

I was away from my campsite at Sunset Beach, so I decided to pick up a few caches. The harbor area looks pretty nice these days. Thanks!

I have been out on this walk before, but I needed the exercise today, and hiked it from the harbor side. I would not have listed this as a small. Lots of room for trinket exchange. Thanks!

I got up for an early morning hike, and headed out to the entrance. No need to bushwhack for this one, at least right now. I didn't see Swanky, but woke up a cat in the mowed trail. Thanks!

I enlisted my brother-in-law, the camp host for this one. There wasn't one obvious place to look, so I looked here and there until I found it. The coordinates were good for my PN-40. Nice day to be here. Thanks!
