I was indeed on my way to Lobitos Lookout, and somewhat unhappy about heading downhill. This was my first time out this way, and I didn't encounter a whole lot of traffic on the trail, other than a young possum. Thanks!

This one is much easier than the nearby decon cache because of the limited possibilities. Thanks!

This one took me longer than it should have if I had been paying attention. My PN-40 put me about 65 feet up the trail from the cache, and I checked out a couple other monarchs before coming back to the right one. Thanks!

This is the second time I have been here finding a cache, but the tree is impressive as ever. The coordinates and a little geosense took me straight to the cache. Thanks!

I was in a hurry to head back, so I read the hint and made a quick find. This turned out to be my last cache of the day. Thanks!

I think this is a terrain challenge that will grow to be more of a challenge over time. The thorny vines tried to grab my feet as I went by. I saw a young possum, passed the Pampas grass sentinels, and finally made it to the cache. Thanks!

We were camped at Half Moon Bay this weekend with family. I headed up here to work off last night's pie and icecream. My PN-40 didn't take right to the cache, but after wandering around a while, I finally came across it. Thanks!

I didn't need the hint for this one, and the coordinates were right on for me. I decided to drop the Pot O' Gold coin here. If I had brought some lunch with me, this wouldn't have been a bad spot, except that it was a bit sunny and warm here. On the way back, about 1 pm, I was definitely thinking more about lunch. Thanks!

Wirebndr found this one while I was contemplating the possibilities. I was out here one before when the lead was flying, but all was quiet this morning. Thanks!

My PN-40 took me to exactly the right spot to find this one. I was worried that a metal container might be rusted shut, but this one opens easily. I took the Pot O' Gold traveler and left a travel from Poland, Blue Eyes. I don't have my note with me right now, so I will log the movements later.

The coordinates got us to exactly the right spot, and we spotted by looking down. I was somewhat exposed, but nothing that anyone would spot walking down the trail. Thanks!

Wirebndr cupped his hands while I piled on the nuts. When that approach didn't work, we looked elsewhere and found the cache. Thanks!

I looked for the cache while Wirebndr read the display. There was a bit of condensation this morning, so it was a bit hard to read, but he managed. I found the cache about the time he finished reading, we noted the info we needed and headed on down the trail. Thanks!

Mrs. Bytemobile set up on the beach this afternoon, and I wandered on down to look for this cache. I ended up circling back via the trail to get to this one. Thanks!

We set up camp at Francis Beach and I hopped on my bike for a ride up the coast. This cache turned out to be relatively easy find, with good coordinates and a good hint. Thanks!
