Two Wades

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I stopped by at lunchtime today. I wouldn't have noticed these buildings without the plaques and cache.

Guadalupe River: Port of Alviso

By: bullit Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I came out at lunchtime today. There were a few folks out working on their boats, and an egret on the boat directly across from the cache.

Out To Lunch

By: nielsenc w/Glimcoil Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I needed to take a break after a long meeting, and this cache fit the bill. There was a constant stream of folks coming by, but I waited for a break and made a quick find. Thanks!

Geocoin Trading Event

By: bullit Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

I'll be there with Mrs. B.

Lee Made Squid Rib

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 4.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I have been ignoring this cache for months and months, but finally decided to give it a go this morning. After nosing around a bit, I figured out what I was looking for. It took me a long time to spot it and I drew some quizzical looks from a lady who walked by a couple times. At the second stage I took the Etch A Sketch travel bug and left signature turtle #170.

Loud

By: 2burbacious (adopted by not2b) Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

For me, rocks are on a par with ivy. I looked once a long time ago for "El Gato", but couldn't find it. Today, I had pretty good luck and spotted it right off. Thanks!

Wrapsidy's Cache

By: EricsBrat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I headed out on an errand this morning and decided to make a couple cache stops along the way. This was a quick one. Thanks!

85% Camo By Frivlas

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

The hike was a nice gradual downhill to this point. I didn't realize how far down I had gone until my return trip. I left signature turtle #163.

Franciscan Troll

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

There were a few water spots on the log from yesterday. I left signature turtle #165. Thanks!

0% Camo

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I had the odd sensation of being hot and cold at the same time on this hike. The sweat on my shirt was providing cooling and my hands were cool, but the hiking kept me feeling quite warm. I left turtle #168.

Ordinance 93-1

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

I left my map at home. The trail seemed to be tending back toward Alpine Road, and I had hopes that this could be turned into a loop hike, but I finally realized here that I had to return the way I came. I left signature turtle #169. Thanks for the hike!

Ancient Russian Trailhead

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I had a little trouble finding the cache, but I wandered around and finally got the right perspective to see it. A very large cat must like to perch in this oak because he left several calling cards.

3 down and 15 to go

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

It was a very cool walk through the woods this morning. Actually, it was downright cold, but thankfully, it was dry. I left turtle #164.

SROSP Trailhead cache

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Extracting the log was a major operation. The paper was swollen from being damp, and the extraction loop was not visible, but I finally was able to coax it out and sign. Thanks!

Russian Runoff

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

I printed out a nice ExpertGPS map with all the caches marked, but left it home on my desk. I started out the wrong direction for this cache, but soon corrected myself. I left turtle #167.

Ancient Oaks

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

There was still a little frost along the trail in the shady spots, but the sun was warming things up -- it was much warmer up here than at Los Trancos this morning. I left turtle #166.

328

By: Thefogheads Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

There are enough hiding places that this took a little while and I wished I had brought some gloves, but it turned up eventually. I left signature turtle #162. Thanks!

The Money Pit (aka The $100 Splinter Cache)

By: frivlas and oneangrypuppy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I snuck out of the house for a little early Thanksgiving morning geocaching. There were about six caches within a few miles of home, so I went after them. Thanks!

Path to Gardiner Park

By: ed777 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

When my sons were little, we used this path a few times. Now the freeway makes it a much longer trek from my house. Thanks!

Valley of Hearts Delights

By: trojan_fred Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Very clever hide. It is the first I've seen done this way. I left signature turtle #161. Thanks!

It's Finally Open

By: Mauison Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

The traffic on Lawrence was fairly quiet this Thanksgiving morning, and there were a surprising number of people checking out the trail. I was stumped initially, but then walked around and spotted the clever container. Thanks!

Excuses, Excuses

By: frivlas and oneangrypuppy Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I liked this. It was hard enough to be interesting, but no so hard that it took all day. The log is full, and the blank areas on the reverse are filling up.

Maya Silver: Encounter

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

My son was visiting for the week, so instead of working this morning, I enlisted him to hunt for some Mayan Silver. I was a little chilly at the trailhead at 7:45 am. The sun wasn't quite up over the mountain.

Maya Silver: Secrets

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

Ah, the secret is revealed. My diligent sketching paid off and we were on our way to Tears of the Moon. Left turtle #159.

Maya Silver: Redoubt

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

The sun was pretty well on us by now. What a warm day for November! Left turtle #158.

Maya Silver: Escape

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

I made my sketch and we escaped on up the mountain. Left turtle #157.

Maya Silver: Sacrifice

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

Bug drop. I think I left Dr. Mindbender here, but it could be one cache up or down the mountain.

Maya Silver: Sacrifice

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

I was hoping for better views today. The haze kept us from seeing SF or Oakland. Left signature turtle #156.

Maya Silver: Greed

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

And up we go... I thought my sketch here was one of my finer efforts. I took the Dr. Mindbender travel bug since the cache was quite full, and left signature turtle #154.

Maya Silver: Tears of the Moon

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

We enjoyed the series and it broke up the hike just the right amount. We got some breaks, but weren't delayed too long. I took my Found It souvenir, left turtle #160, and we headed off for the summit. Thanks!

Maya Silver: Betrayal

By: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

I appreciated the quick finds along the route. I was on a schedule today, and was more into hiking than searching. My sketch here was a little sad, but it served its purpose. I left signature turtle #155.

The Clearing

By: geekster Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

For me, a hide in a pile of rocks is like an ivy hide, except that you have to worry about smashed digits and crushed appendages. At Almaden Quicksilver I resorted to restacking a big pile of rocks before I finally found the cache. The rocks here were mostly too big to move, but I did have to move a couple to find the cache. I couldn't find the cache on my first try, so I stopped by again on my way out and had more success. I left signature turtle #151.

The End of the Line

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I told Mrs. B I would be back to the campground at Half Moon Bay by 1 pm, so I had time for one more quickie. This one worked out well and I was on my way right on schedule. Thanks for the historical series!

This Old Stump

By: geekster Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

My GPSr took me to the wrong stump, but after I read the hint, I headed straight for the cache. I prefer to spend my time hiking rather than searching, so I appreciated the hint. Thanks!

The Motherlode

By: geekster & tavahi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

The hint for finding the cache worked fine for me. The cache was full of goodies. I took the eagle travel bug so there would be room to leave The Ever Changing Bug. I also left signature turtle #149.

Skeggs Point

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I rolled in a little before 8 am, and there were already several cars with bike racks parked here. I looked the area over pretty well, but I was anxious to start my hike, so I headed out without finding it.

El Corte de Madera Open Space Preserve ~ MROSD

By: MROSD (adopted from Rain734) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

The temperature was in the 70s and I had a great view of the coast today. I left a big eagle travel bug that I picked up at The Motherlode, but the tracking number I wrote down doesn't seem right, and the travel bug doesn't appear at The Motherlode cache page. I also left signature turtle #150.

'B' Is For Beachhead

By: Buxley Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I wanted to get to this sooner or later since it is an oldie. Today I was on the coast and the tide was plenty low enough, so I made the little hike. The weather was incredible for mid November -- 70s and clear skies. Thanks!

Methuselah

By: normanb Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

It's nice to see a tree this size after seeing mostly stumps and next generation stuff. This was my first stop here. Thanks!

Cache Me if U Can

By: Mr152 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

This is a pretty secluded trail, although I did see a jogger with dog on the way out. Thanks for the tour. I left signature turtle #152.

The Tafoni

By: geekster Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I don't have images from cache pages on my old PDA, but I got pretty close with the posted coordinates, and managed to get the right perspective to see the cache. This was my first trip to this open space preserve. Thanks!

Nov 18, 2005

Any Given Sunday

By: frivlas and oneangrypuppy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This was my second stop on an early morning tour of new caches. Thanks!

Semi-Secret Trailhead: STASCT

By: stbk Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I wondered where this trail ended. Now I know. Thanks!

The Twilight Zone

By: frivlas and oneangrypuppy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I saw three new caches nearby, so I decided to make an early morning run for them. Thanks!

Nov 14, 2005

Eel Trout

By: Rogue Ramblers Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

9:15 pm - Mrs. B was out at a knitting/book club meeting tonight, so I looked for a puzzle and found this new one. I didn't finish the solution until after she was home, so she shook her head as I headed out the door, but I was back before my bedtime. Thanks!

Golf Bravo Alpha

By: the GBA, with help from Workerofwood Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I think there are lots of parallels between fishing and caching. One difference, however, is that passersby don't wonder what the heck a fisherman is doing. I had the coordinates many moons ago, but just today planned a route by here. Thanks!

DISLOCATER

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I had to get a hint from the cache owner before the light finally dawned on this one. I finally came down to pick it up today. I didn't see the disclocater's cache, either.

Take a ride on the trolley

By: Created by Stacy & Jerry; Adopted by cachbefo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I've been working on this series on and off for nearly two years now. I guess there is at least one station I haven't visited, and I have lost the clues from a couple others, but the coordinates worked out fine. The cache is full of goodies, but I just left Bytemobile turtle #147. Thanks for a classic, well done series!

Branham Station

By: Stacy & Jerry; Adopted by cachbefound Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I came very close on a previous visit, but was able to finally retrieve it today. The cache is in fine shape. Thanks!

Parqinryde

By: Mohetka Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

This is a nice cache. I didn't have too much trouble finding it. I left Bytemobile turtle #146. Thanks!

George W

By: sammydee Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I was in the neighborhood this morning, and decided to have a look for this one. I had no trouble spotting it. Thanks!

Alviso Marina -- Nature and History Walk

By: bullit (Adopted by MotorBug) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This is a nice nature walk and a nice multi. I was surprised to see there was a spot in the parking lot for a "Site Host", with an RV parked there. I wonder what his duties are. Thanks!

Nov 12, 2005

Somewhere in Los Altos Hills

By: budd-rdc Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

The autorouter on my GPSr didn't have a very good bead on a trailhead. I adopted a maze-running strategy. I kept turning right until I spotted one of those "Path" signposts. The dog only woofed at me once because he was so busy with the kids. Thanks!

Beginner's Luck

By: PrincessIchi Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

After having some luck fishing nearby, I stopped by here also. I left signature turtle #145.

Boy, Am I Ever Hungry!

By: NavySparksandtheMrs Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

The parking lot was empty this morning, so this was a quick sign and go. Thanks!

Neutrino

By: fizzymagic Difficulty: 5.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

If I were that poor grad student trying to figure out the neutrino path, I probably would have been asked to find a career path more suited to my abilities. After I learned about this cache, I did some procrastination, then put something together that had errors, then let it sit for a while. I used some algebra from Hyperbolic Reasoning, and a little routine to set up a local east/north/up coordinate frame at CERN, and after correcting another error, Fizzy told me I was within 400 feet. Luckily I hadn't expended any gas at this point. The last hurdle was understanding how EGM-96 played into the solution. I finally found a web page with a very simple equation and an online calculator to give me what I needed. My GPSr zeroed out with a couple feet at the cache site, so I was happy that theory and reality all worked out. Thanks for the educational puzzle!

Dish Drink

By: dw Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I have been meaning to do this cache for a while now. This morning I was in the area and had the time, so I took a little hike along with the rest of humanity. The cache is in a great spot for a little signing privacy. Thanks!

Electric Lizard

By: oneangrypuppy and frivlas Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

After checking the obvious places, I started working on the not-so-obvious. It took about ten minutes or so, and a woman walked by talking to herself. I thought that might be a good plan for me to adopt as other folks walked by. Thanks!

Go Fish

By: PrincessIchi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

My brother spends a lot of time fishing, and I think there are a lot of similarities between fishing and caching. This cache of course puts those connections together. Thanks!

Marsh Catwalk

By: digitalfish Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I didn't have much trouble with this one. I emptied my shirt pocket before I started looking so I didn't lose anything.

Ravenswood Trailhead

By: digitalfish Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Thanks for the trailhead marker. I headed out here for a lunchtime jaunt.

Ravenswood Open Space Preserve ~ MROSD

By: MROSD (adopted from digitalfish) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

A bike would have been faster, but I enjoyed the hike anyway. I saw Bytemobile turtle #129 here, which is the second time one of my turtles has beaten me to a cache.

Nov 10, 2005

Three Women Who Cared

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I made this a multi-lunchhour multi. I got the coordinates yesterday, and ran out of time, and was back today to make the find as well as pick up a couple of others on the way. I has been a couple of nice days of the bay.

Baylands Bridge

By: digitalfish Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I found it quickly on a lunchtime stroll, then a herd of cyclists rolled over the bridge as I was signing.

C or N?

By: zapboy Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Did not see C. Did not see N. Saw concrete, big cables, lots of chainlink fence.

Duck!

By: digitalfish Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I had to search very thoroughly to come up with the cache. The coordinates were great, but it took me a while to figure out where it could be. Thanks!

Nov 8, 2005

Forgotten Stairs

By: Rocket Girl and Duckeylee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I checked some similar hiding places on my last visit, but obviously missed one. Maybe it was just a little more visible today.

Child's Play

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

The coordinates weren't my problem yesterday. I knew where to look, but didn't check all the possible places and wasn't very thorough. I replaced the cache with the top down since it collected a little moisture last night.

Bus Bench Bogaloo #1

By: southbayday Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

The cache was still hanging in there today. I recommend looking rather than feeling since I picked up a little sliver during my hunt. Thanks!

Nov 7, 2005

Stoned

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Other

I came out for a lunchtime cache today. I thought the coordinates were fine, but needed the hint to find it.

Child's Play

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

It wasn't where I expected it to be. I didn't spend a long time here, but I couldn't spot it.

Legend of the Blue Pearls: Man Overboard

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This cache is well hidden, and it took a little wandering before I plunked down next to it. Lots of activity around here today!

Legend of the Blue Pearls: The Beginning

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I wasn't in any race today. I suspect everyone was at the Badges breakfast or the Los Gatos Creek Park picnic, but Mrs. Bytemobile had made these HMB campground reservations months ago. I had breakfast, read the paper, then got on my bike to start the series. The ballfield was already in use by a girls softball team (Is this an early jump on spring training?). There was also a couple of dog walkers nearby shooting the breeze, but I nosed around until I spotted the cache. And I'm off!

Legend of the Blue Pearls: Fishtrap

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I came unprepared for this cache. My old black & white PDA either doesn't display cache page images, or I don't have things set up right. I decided to bike on back to the campground. I made it just in time for lunch, and Mrs. B soon showed up with her Treo 650. I logged on, had a look at the images, and made a couple sketches. I drove back to the cache site and tried again. I considered the perspective of the second image, and went to the point where the artist would go to draw it. I used the position of the railing uprights with respect to the windows to get a pretty good position. This idea turned out to be all wrong-headed, and put me several hundred feet from the cache. I finally found it based on the container type and the previous logs, and a lot of wandering around. Now on to the final...

Coastside Clifftop Stroll

By: Coppernob for Mrs. and Ivor Screwloose Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I had a look for this cache many months ago with no luck. Today, I zeroed out close to the cache, and it was fairly exposed and easy to spot. I suspect that the coordinates have been improved in the meanwhile. I too the Referee travel bug and left Bytemobile turtle #144.

Legend of the Blue Pearls: Lost Souls

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I enjoyed the spooky row of cypress trees. Somehow I missed this path in my several previous bike rides along the bluff. I left turtle #140.

This Stop: North Granada!

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I was biking along the coast, doing the Legend of the Blue Pearls, and this was just a short detour, so I stopped by. The old depot sure has a good disguise. I left turtle #143. Thanks!

This Stop: Montara!

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I parked not far from the point of interest and read enough sentences of the cache description from my PDA to know that I needed the house number. I walked over and got it, then read some more and found that I needed some more info. I walked over and got that, came back and read some more and found that I needed one more thing... The parking lot near the cache site was full, so I just hiked over. Thanks for the historical tour!

This Stop: Arleta!

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I headed out this morning on my bike from the HMB campground for the Legend of the Blue Pearls series, and made a quick detour to have a look and make the find. Thanks!

Legend of the Blue Pearls

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

It took most of the day before I finished this series. I did some additional caches along the way, had lunch, did a little shopping, but finally got out here and found the last cache. It was a great day for biking along the coast -- clear skies and not too much wind. I left a couple travel bugs and took one to make a little room in the cache. I also took my Legend of the Blue Pearls souvenir. Thanks for another epic series!

Legend of the Blue Pearls: Beckoning

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I stopped by the campground on my way back north and said goodbye to Mrs. B as she headed out to the yarn shop and the Johnson House. This was the first weekend the Johnson House was open for its annual sale of Christmas stuff. The cache was a fairly quick stop along the bike path. The cache was nicely hidden and will hopefully last a long time here.

Legend of the Blue Pearls: Marguerite's Margaritas

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Earlier this year I made a caching bike trip along here and had no idea that the trail continued along the bluff. I ended up riding along Hwy 1 up to the next traffic light. Thanks for the info in the cache description! I left turtle #141.

Mt. Hope Cemetery

This is a great multi. A little sad, but a nice tour. Mrs. Bytemobile was with me and helped locate the points of interest. Thanks!

Tiny Dinos

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

Mrs. Bytemobile is interested in the tiny dinos, so I got her to come along on this trek. I didn't say a lot about the trail. There was mostly berry vines encroaching on the trail, but I pointed out the sprigs of poison oak here and there. Mrs. B was soon feeling like she was walking a tight rope on this trail. I still think that it is a neat cache, though, and I didn't know about this trail or how to get to it. I left turtle #139.

San Gregorio

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Mrs. B and I were in Pescadero, and decided to drive Stage Road to San Gregorio. It was a nice drive. We were there late Friday afternoon and could hear music from where we parked. Thanks!

BMX Rides Again! (formerly BMX No More)

My kids weren't much into BMX riding, but did go over to Gardiner Park in Saratoga once or twice. Lots of walkers and joggers by here early this morning. I left Bytemobile turtle #137.

Pescadero Walking Tour

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Mrs. Bytemobile checked her phone messages as we parked, and had to tend to some business, so I walked the town by myself. I completed the cache by the time she finished her business, so I pointed out the monkey tree and the old church as we rolled out of town. Thanks!

The Apple Tree

By: stbk Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I made an early morning run to grab some of the nearby caches that have sprouted up. I parked close to the Apple tree and didn't have too much trouble. Thanks!

Should This Be Klimbed?

By: frivlas Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

I have been out here three times before, and each time, it provides a great workout. I wasn't too concerned about the terrain, but it would have been nice to have my hiking boots. This was well off the beaten paths, and I had a little trouble finding it, but finally decided that the coordinates are pretty good. I circled around high and came down for the cache, then took a little shorter route out. I left Bytemobile turtle #138. Thanks, I enjoy this type of cache much more than the drive-by variety.

Shopping for a cache

By: Rocket Girl and Duckeylee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I stopped by yesterday on a short lunchtime caching tour, but a lady was eating her lunch in her SUV immediately adjacent to the cache, so I passed. This morning before work, things were not quite so busy here.

I decided to make a quick lunchtime expedition for a few nearby caches. This was the first stop, and it went well. Thanks!
