Looked reasonably non-for-lease-signaged to me, though... Dropped a traveling coin we picked up on our turkey day visit to Wisconsin. Thanks for the cache!

This was a very long but entertaining stop for us, what with Geo Baby along. There's this huge slide that is apparently quite fun, particularly when using the cardboard left nearby. Unfortunately, on the pre-stated "last time down" for Geo Baby, she wiped out at the end and we left with a shiner on her face. Good thing I carry single-use cold packs in the car... Thanks for the cache and playground stop.

Walruz, Geo Baby and I were out and about in Pleasanton, caching around after our usual Sunday breakfast plans. Since we were driving by this area and I had solved the puzzle some time ago (using the answers that most people my mother's age and occupation would give), I figured I should just finish this one off. As we approached the (almost abandoned) site and I figured out where it was, WalruZ figured out that his memory ain't what it used to be. Thanks for the cache.

WalruZ, Geo Baby and I needed to get out for some fresh air while everyone else was stressing out in the kitchen before the big meal. This was quite welcome by the cooks, since Geo Baby likes to be a "helper" in the kitchen even when it isn't a special occasion. No one on site today, which kind of surprised me given the holiday and the active state of the cemetary, so we also enjoyed a little walk around the area, thanks!

A nice look at what the WI countryside would look like if not mowed in rows. We were greeted by a ranger on a fun-looking toy (a quad) when just in from the trailhead, and that was an interesting change from our hikes at home, too. Thanks for the physical cache to hunt!

Hanging out in WI with the WalruZ side of the family, and so I was game to brave the dudes walking around in orange with rifles slung over their backs while complaining about seeing no tracks, in order to find a few caches in the snowy landscape. This one seemed like a relatively safe stop for us, what with the roadside nearby and all, so I grabbed my camera and we snapped a few pix. Thanks for the edu-tainment!

Mmmm, snowy.... WalruZ and I were visiting family just north of the park for the holiday and decided to pop in for a little hiking. Luckily said family had two extra orange vests for us, because orange was all the rage in this part of the park today. No one seemed to be doing much shooting though, just a lot of standing around waiting for one's buddies, from what I could gather. Anyhow, we enjoyed our walk to the site, and especially the area of the virt. Nice place to sit a while, when there isn't snow on the rocks, I imagine. WalruZ sent on our answers, so as not to be redundant with two emails. Than ks for the virt.
