Water Tank View

By: budd-rdc Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

10:06 am - Well, I'm pretty sure I didn't take the most direct route to the cache, but it was "on the way" to some other caches. Great view up here too. TNLN. Thanks!

Old Technology

By: OneAngryPuppy Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

12:50 pm - Found with MotorBug today. Half of us solved the puzzle and the other found the cache. I'm sure MotorBug had *some* contribution to all this - oh yeah, he drove. ;)

Dead Man's Chest: Pirates' Treasure

By: 50sumtin Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

2:34 pm - Arrrrr! Got this one too. I liked the little treasure box. That was enough caching for the day so we headed home. TNLN. Thanks!

The Yellow Brick Road

By: TimberToo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

3:01 pm - I liked the concept here. I solved it this morning, only to realize that I had already done that. I was surprised by the mini multi at the end, but it all worked out. Thanks!

sharkbait

By: cooperphoto Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 4.5 Container: Not chosen

1:12 pm - This was a fun one. Wi walked down to the kayak launch point nearby, then walked around the rocks to the cache. I think I was lucky and got there at about low tide. Even so the rocks were slippery and sharp, which my tender bare feet did not appreciate. I was thankful to find it and make it back safely. Thanks!

Driftwood

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

2:04 pm - This puzzle isn't difficult when you look a back it, but figuring out what you have to do can be tough. We ended up calling the owner and getting the coordinates so we could work backwards. Left the fireman and took stuart little in a canoe. Thanks.

178

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:46 pm - I had some help with this one even though I tried a similar theme to the actual solution. I was maybe 100 feet away with another attempt at a solution last week. Oh well. Thanks.

By: cyan_blue Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

2 pm - I'm not sure if I brute forced or social engineered this one, but we found it. Replaced the baggie though. Thanks!

Liar - liar

By: AJ.JR Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

6:20 pm - I've been lied to before. You never know who you can trust these days, but I managed to suss out the coordinates for this one. Nice try!

Board Game Bonanza

By: Mannard Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

12:10 pm - MotorBug called and said he had a chance at a FTF on a new puzzle, but he wasn't sure about the coordinates. We took a look at them together and then realized that his guesses were way off! We found the right answers and headed off. By then we weren't first or second, but it was a nice day for a walk. Thanks!

Morning at the Beach

By: kablooey Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:09 pm - This was a fun one for MotorBug and I. We were at the event a bit early and thought there might be just enough time for another cache. MotorBug managed to figure out the coordinates with his PDA. We raced to the coordinates which turned out to be a couple miles of driving away. We searched for a while, but found nothing. Giving up we started walking back. On a hunch I checked out one more spot a hundred feet away from our coordin ates and there it was! We signed and made it back to the event just in time and tell kablooey excitedly about what we thought was a very impressive puzzle solution effort! Thanks.

POP #8

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

10:59 am - I got a bit of a hint on this one to finish it up, but most of it made sense. A bit more reasonable than some others in the series. [;)] Thanks!

Caching in a Parallel Universe

By: dgreno Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

11:00 am - I figured this out alright, but didn't notice the extra bit that would have made the hide a bit easier. Thanks!

Heil Kaiser!

By: Nazgul Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

5:17 pm - It's not often that MotorBug helps *me* with a puzzle, but I'll gladly take the returned favor. [}:)] After a long day of caching in the South County we finished up a few downtown. Interesting spot. We were glad to find it before we got too dusty. Thanks!

UB: Guerilla Warfare - Arms Cache

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:16 pm - I found it! I found it! I definitely wasn't coming back here for a 5th time, so I'm glad I did. I think I've tried find it in each of its 3 incarnations too. The hint was very precise and straightforward once I figured out my compass directions. Phew!

Bricks

By: bullit Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

10:26 am - The puzzle wasn't too bad and the camo was unique. I've always wondered how to get over here. Thanks!

A Test

By: Rogue Ramblers Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This one flummoxed me a bit and I even made up another cache based on a solution that didn't quite fit. MotorBug and I made the grab. Thanks!

Long Distance

By: Fremont Claassens Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

1:04 pm - It's great to find a nice and easy puzzle cache every once in a while. MotorBug saw the appropriate location right away. 50 cents now? Geez, what ever happened to a dime? Thanks!
