Ocean View Summit

By: Kealia Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

2:59 pm - When we got to the top, there were some other people already there. Instead of explaining things, we decided to wait until they left. That took quite a while and Burke was impatient. Finally they left and we found it. TNLN. As soon as we were ready to leave another hiker and Burke, age 3, proceeded to tell her all about the cache. She found it interesting and went off to look for it while we headed back down. Thanks!

Big Basin Cache

By: 50sumtin Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

3:54 pm - The twists in the trail were somewhat tricky here, but we managed to get ourselves in the right place. TNLN. Thanks!

Old Growth Cache

By: 50sumtin Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

1:00 pm - There were a lot of people looking at the old tree, luckily they were all looking in the opposite direction of the cache. Grabbed and replaced it with a minimal amount of noise. Thanks!

Big Hihney Cache

By: Chickasaw Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

4:22 pm - We took a small diversion from the Skyline to the Sea trail to grab this cache. Burke found it and then we sorted through the contents. I took the green Jeep and left 2 pairs of Continental airlines headphones. Thanks!

1:29 pm - We had a nice walk with to this one with Burke and his family who came to visit. He liked the container. Thanks!

Pickleweed

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

1:45 pm - I think we may have reached this one just before high tide. I was able to take it out ok, but when I went to replace it, I couldn't do so without submerging it, so I hid it a few feet away. Left a trailspace sticker and took a figherfighter. Thanks!

Driftwood

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

2:04 pm - This puzzle isn't difficult when you look a back it, but figuring out what you have to do can be tough. We ended up calling the owner and getting the coordinates so we could work backwards. Left the fireman and took stuart little in a canoe. Thanks.

Back Porch

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

2:46 pm - This is was the first cache Audrey did while conscious. It was actually a nice place to hang out for a while to take a break and have a snack. We took some pics of her with the cache and headed on. Thanks!

Long Ridge Vista

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro

3:39 pm - Pretty nice view up here today. We enjoyed our little hike which brought us on some parts of the trail we hadn't recalled going on before. TNLN. Thanks!

Wally's Cave

By: Tripp888 Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

2:21 pm - Wow there were a lot of cyclists on this trail today. The trails were narrow so we spent a lot of time stepping off to the side. The cache happened to be right underneath where we stopped to let a cyclist pass. We signed in and took off. Thanks.

The Way Up To Long Ridge

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

1:29 pm - This was Audrey's first cache! She was asleep though, so I'm not sure how she felt about it. It was my first cache in quite a while, and it felt good, especially finding a hefty ammo box. TNLN. Thanks!

Up The Down Escalator

By: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

1:51 pm - We mean to go up this, but ended up taking a wrong turn and went down instead. A fortunate accident it seems. Nice cache. TNLN. Thanks!

Virus Bravo One

By: budd-rdc Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro

3:25 pm - Once again, there were a ton of bikes on this trail today. We stopped to sign this one while we waited for a gaggle of them to pass. Thanks!
