Piscataquog River Park

By: T & BLAHEY Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

11:58 am - I used to play soccer over here at these fields. That's not to say it's where we parked; no, we drove all around until I decided to park near the ice arena and walk over.
The river was really high today. We had a nice walk though on a chilly day. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Hackett Hill

By: Cephas Hawke Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

3:36 pm - This was an interesting place to take a walk. I took a class at this UNH branch when I was in high school, but I had no idea these streets were up here. It was chilly out, so we walked briskly up the hill. Each of the waypoints was easy to find. We were surprised to see a few trucks up here, but I guess they were servicing the cell station on the water tower. We checked out the swamp on the way out. We took nothing and left the Blazing Trailfeathers TB. Thanks!

STACT: End of the road and trail

By: bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

10:53 am - I tried this one last week, but there ere some people playing ball or something nearby. Today I found the bullit standard hide. Thanks!

in the middle of everything

By: howeler & Mira Jade Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

1:17 pm - I felt uncomfortable searching here, even if the locals are in on it. The door was wide open and the workers were looking right at me. My GPS didn't really settle down either, so I ended up searching all over the place.
Out of nowhere some guy came over to ask me about my 60cs and tell me how much he liked his. I got a hint from another cache after and I checked that place, apparently not thoroughly enough though. I'll try again at off-hours someday.

leaf something in Sinnott Park

By: howeler Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

2:24 pm - This one could have been a lot harder to find, but the description was right on. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Old Calavaras

By: howeler Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

1:05 pm - Some CITO kits inside the cache would be a good idea - I didn't have any. Found the cache easily though and TNLNSL. Thanks.

Weather Vane

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:42 pm - Walking over here I realized that my legs were kinda sore from my Butano hike yesterday. Pretty quick find. Thanks.

A rose...

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

9:32 am - I just had to stop for a quick cache after dropping MotorBug off at the airport. A large helicopter was hovering nearby, apparently lifting something. I found this classic D21
&
FW hide in the first place I checked. Thanks for the re-visit!

The real power behind the movies

By: howeler & Mira Jade Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

12:57 pm - This one threw me for a bit, but eventually it revealed itself. Thanks.

By: bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

12:29 pm - Are there any bullit caches that are not bison tubes? [8D] Quick find. Thanks.

Selwyn Park

By: howeler Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:14 pm - This one was well-hidden. I searched for a while, then finally got the idea. Thanks.

By: howeler Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

1:52 pm - A bit trashy, but a quick find. TNLNSL. Thanks.

The way before the Bridges...

By: howeler Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

1:24 pm - I was walking up to this one when I noticed a cop parked across the street pointing right at me. I didn't feel like being questioned today, so I turned right around and headed for another cache.

Milpitas or San Jose?

By: EricsBrat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

2:43 pm - Oh man, this was painful, especially because there's no description of the container. I managed to contact a lifeline long enough to find it.

By: howeler Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

1:39 pm - I appreciated that this one stood out. It could have been a looong search. Thanks.

By: howeler Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro

1:35 pm - Quick find, surprisingly. Thanks.

Candelabra

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

12:38 pm - This was a bit of sidetrip for us and I was wary of spending too much time on it. We had a long way to go with not a whole lot of daylight left. It was a worthwhile walk though. We enjoyed the tree and found the cache, though it was surprisingly damp inside. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Unknown Alien Cache

By: ProTechCC Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

2:51 pm - It was nice to finally reach the top! The consequences of a false takeoff here seem rather severe. Found the cache with the hint and TNLNSL. Thanks!

High and Dry

By: Woof! Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

3:43 pm - It would have helped to have the picture from the cache page when looking for this one. Despite the open sky, I got inconsistent readings today. Once I spotted the tree, the cache was an easy find. Now we finally get to leave the fire road. Thanks!

Going Gazos

By: Woof! Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

12:16 pm - This is one confusing junction. Lots of directions and only half of them labelled. We found the cache and headed off to Candelabra. Thanks!

Quite Appeeling

By: Woof! Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

1:36 pm - Cool area. We wandered quite a bit before Anne found the expected container. These crack me up. Thanks for the hike!

Olmost Heaven

By: Woof! Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

1:47 pm - This was a welcome rest along the way. Just as we arrived a guy with his 2 dogs was leaving. I thought he might have been a cacher, but the log hadn't been signed since September. We rescued a travel bug and continued on our way up. Thanks!

Where Water Comes From

By: Woof! Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Micro

2:08 pm - While I had a cache like this once, I've had trouble finding similar ones. Today this one stuck right out - I wonder why? SMILIE Thanks.

Mystery Trail

By: Woof! Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

3:17 pm - It was nice to see some downhill for a change. Quick find here and then we kept pressing on to get back to the car before dark. TNLNSL. Thanks.

A.L.F.

By: Woof! Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

2:57 pm - Yeah, there are some nice views up here. We had no problem finding the cache even though it didn't look edible. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Piece of Cake

By: Woof! Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

2:00 pm - I was getting even more worried about time when we arrived here. The cache was indeed a piece of cake and I found it right away so we could move ahead quickly. Thanks for the yummy cache.

Take a Bite

By: Woof! Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

11:52 am - We decided to take on Butano today, but some better planning helped. First, we didn't leave the house until about 10. Second, I decided that the autorouted trip up and over 92 was too slow, so I decided to go over Skyline. That cost us another 20 minutes or so. When we got there, we didn't have change for a pass. We asked a few people but they couldn't help us. Thankfully we ran into a ranger who could. After all those missteps, it was nice to finally get on the trail. Then I realized that I forgot my calibrated map at home. I wanted to do the caches in a counter-clockwise direction, but ended up doing them clockwise with this one first. It took me a while to get a lock and find this one, but eventually I looked around the right tree and there it was. Thanks for the warm up!

Escape

By: Woof! Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Small

4:31 pm - The ratings on this cache are well-deserved. With the time pressure of impending darkness and our tired legs it was even more so. It was a slow descent to the ravine and then we did lots of exhausting climbing up the embankments chasing duplicate markers and natural Xes. Finally we followed one of the earlier logs and headed back down a bit where we found the right marker, X and the cache. We were just about to give up too. Thanks.

Butano Creek

By: Butano and WT Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

4:50 pm - This was the last cache we found today. It was once again a challenge to get good readings. It's a good thing that Anne is good at reading instructions. While I was off searching in completely the wrong place, she read the description and went right to it. We were relieved to find and start our walk back as it got dark. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Oat Bun

By: Mengarelliott Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

1:15 pm - Man, that was a lot of up. We did a few trips around before we found this ancient cache. We had some great views before headed on. TNLNSL. Thanks.

G.O.G.

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:45 pm - Alright Nazgul, what's with all the caches that require surgical equipment to extract? Geez. I had the whole place to myself though. I just had to watch out that a ranger didn't lock the gate behind me. TFTC.

Nice Place For A Break

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

11:26 am - This was definitely a quiet walk up. We were all too tired for conversation.
OGBO ran by me but I didn't know who he was until later. bthomas had the cache in hand when I arrived. We waited for a few folks, regrouped and headed onwards.

P.S. It's "decon", not "decom" [8D]

Jack's Juniper Hide

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

5:01 pm - Part of mandatory geocaching training should be a horticulture class. I searched the wrong plants for a while, then found it inbetween muggle passings. Thanks!

The Big Fat Cache (Reborn)

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

4:53 pm - That's a big cache with lots of empty space in it! Sadly I didn't bring anything with me, so I couldn't help the situation. Thanks.

Little Tiny Cache

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

4:43 pm - Quick find here as there's many access points close by. Thanks.

Figueroa-Canada Del Oro Junction

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

8:45 am - Hey, these caches aren't exactly 528 feet away from each other. What's up with that? SMILIE Thanks!

Figueroa Creek

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

8:37 am - It's only 4 days later and I've completely forgotten about this cache. Then again, it was a 30+ day, so that's probably excusable. Thanks.

Canada Del Oro Trail Switchbacks

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

9:11 am - Alternate cache title: "Steeped in Tradition". I got nervous here because Marky was out of my sight. I didn't want him dropping any caches behind me. Later he told me that he didn't bring any caches because Joani didn't want to maintain any more in this park. I suspected he could still fashion a cache out of sticks and leaves somehow. It turns out he didn't have to - he left the dirty work to Mystery Ink much later on, recycling another CKayaks cache. Gah!
Anyway, thanks
for THIS cache!

Longwell Canyon Break

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

11:00 am - Nice place for a break. I believe I found this one. bthomas somehow found a Starbucks nearby and pulled out a danish. He didn't share. [:(] TFTC!

Longwell Canyon

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

10:50 am - Had a fun time on the Deathmarch. I don't think I had this one in my GPS since it was archived, but that's why we brought Marky along. SMILIE Thanks!

Serpentine Loop Trail

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

9:47 am - Geez, you know you're behind on logging when even bthomas logs before you.
On my way to this one I realized that the radius of my pocket query from home ended in the middle of this park and I didn't have the info for a bunch of caches. I was preoccupied then with trying to download a PQ on my phone, which amazingly worked way up here.

By the time I got there the cache
had been found and the sticker with my name attached. What great service! Thanks.

Shoot, No Cows!

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro

10:23 am - No problems finding this one and no need to go off-trail. While people signed in, bthomas became fascinated with the pretty leaves AKA poison oak. A brave man. Thanks.

Rock Me Baby!

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro

9:59 am - We joked about this being a "moving" cache. We started to dilly dally, so Fizzy scared us into getting going again. Thanks!

Restore Your Perspective

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro

9:36 am - We were spreading out over the trail, but everyone caught up up again at this spot for a nice view. Thanks!

Cutoff Trail

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

9:22 am - I think I remember this one. Wait - nope, it was one of the the other 25 or so. Uhh I'm pretty sure I found this one, so thanks!

TC/Longwall Canyon

By: popeye2 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

11:25 am - Are we there yet? Sorry to see this one go.

UB: Guerilla Warfare - Arms Cache

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:20 pm - DNF #2. I got the new coordinates since my last find, but I just couldn't spot the darned thing. Once it got dark I admitted to myself that I'm no winini and I would never find it. Here's hoping on attempt #3.

Calero Wetlands

By: sammydee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

3:36 pm - Last one!!! We came close to this one on the way in, but Marky convinced us that we'd go right by in on the way out and we did. We caught up with cer, did the business and pressed on to the sweet, sweet comfort of our cars. Thanks.

Bald Peaks

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

12:26 pm - I think we met up with everyone again here. I was pleased and surprised that Mystery Ink was still chugging along.
I took the very cool Kayak Bender to go with my rock climbing and skiing ones. Left a calculator, highlighter pen and toothbrush. We all stopped for a bite and headed on. Thanks!

Javelina Saddle

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

2:06 pm - I'm no cartographer, but if I was labelling this trail, I would have marked it as steep. Painful, it was. bthomas made it there first, but I eventually found it. We saved Cap'n Finder the pain of the last 100 feet. Well, I guess it's downhill from here. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Cherry Canyon

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

1:41 pm - This was a nice and relaxing walk down. bthomas was way out in front as usual and he had the cache in hand by the time I arrived. I hope Nazgul applied the sticker because I can't remember if I signed this one or not! Thanks.

In The Old Mans Hand

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

2:29 pm - You know, I was feeling pretty good here for having hiked 12 miles. Perhaps it's because I've been hiking pretty regularly and I actually fed myself something partially nutritious on the way up. Once again the others took care of the paperwork and we pressed on. Thanks!

Cottle Rest Site

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

1:12 pm - There are certainly lots of places to rest up here, but I guess that's a very good idea on these long hikes. I was literally choking on the dust being kicked up on the way down. The guy with the horse told us this was a dead end, but for some reason we all decided to go this way anyway. SMILIE
Found the cache ok and TNLNSL. Thanks.

Ascend Your Throne!

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Small

12:06 pm - Well hidden cache. A half-dozen of us searched for quite a while before fizzy smugly announced he had found it. Thanks for the visit to a cool spot. Now it was time for our 2nd of 3 backtracks on the hike.

Callipepla Californica

By: Cat & Bird Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:33 pm - OK, it was really dark now and I shouldn't be attempting caches when I can't find my flashlight. Luckily the hint was very helpful. Thanks.

Ed's Place

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:30 pm - I guess I was the only one from the deathmarch group to bother doing even a drive-up cache after our long hike.
Interesting container! I found it OK, but had to wait to replace it because a mom and her kid decided to take a short break under the shelter. Nicely done. Thanks!

Cap'n Jack's Silver Treasure Chest

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

4:11 pm - I must be truly insane. What do I do after a 15 mile deathmarch? Run off, pay 5 bucks and race the sun over 2 miles to grab two more caches. It was a brisk hike over here, but I found the cache quickly. TNLNSL and picked up the pace to get back before they closed. Thanks!

Calero Bat House

By: TeamSpider3 and Chris & Janet Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

2:54 pm - Turkeys! Deer! Bats! Cachers! An abundance of wildlife was here. bthomas and I wandered while the rest found the cache. I was glad we made a little detour over to this one. It wasn't bad and almost let me clean out the whole park. (Damn Mystery Ink!) Thanks.

One of a Kind

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

2:21 pm - Nice place here and I would probably enjoy it more if I wasn't so wiped. We did the paperwork and then moved on quickly. Thanks.

Pin Junction

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

2:39 pm - This is one of those caches that I've looked at in my pocket queries for a long time now. I'm glad to finally made it out here.
While I was searching on one side of the trail, the others were looking elsewhere. Of course no one let me know they had found it. [:(!]

After we returned from the Bat House I checked the cache again to see if the others had caught up. Not yet. TFTC!

Pena's Panoramic View

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

3:16 pm - Hurrah, we could see our cars from here, just barely. When I said I couldn't see them, kealia made some snarky comment about needing to be tall. I asked him if he'd like me to go all Tonya Harding on him and he promised to be nicer. Thanks!

Vall's Kissing Tree

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

8:51 am - It was a good thing Marky was here because we were wandering all over the place looking for this one. Apparently it it lost all its camo and moved, which made the hint kinda useless. Anyway, we were still all blissfully energetic still, but that would change quickly... Thanks!

Coyote Point

By: mjp303 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

2:37 pm - Searched and searched for this one, even calling a lifeline. We did get to meet idleCPU and some brand new cachers though.

Just a little wooden bridge.

By: nlrw Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

4:44 pm - The creek here was strangely rusty. Weird. MotorBug picked it up and we signed as a muggle passed overhead. TFTC.

By: nlrw Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

4:57 pm - I ignored a sign about loitering here, but it got me back by hitting me in the head as I stood up. Ow. After MotorBug and I signed in, we took in the awesome view. Thanks!

Gateway to Hillsborough

By: anotherone Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:29 pm - Someone I felt underdressed to be searching for a cache in the neighborhood. Good thing it was quick! Thanks.

Bad Dog!

By: vaccine Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:07 pm - This one took a little while for MotorBug and me. I checked this spot early, but not thoroughly enough. Later I just happened to catch it from the right angle. I then directed MotorBug to it. I'm sure he couldn't find it because he was too busy caching to remember he was supposed to be out at a dinner with friends. Oops! Thanks.

Bev-Mo Park

By: nlrw Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

5:10 pm - MotorBug gave me a little hint on this one and I had it. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Hey Bubb!

By: pao_flyer Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

6:12 pm - I searched for this one in the morning, but couldn't find the first stage amongs all the people and off-leash dogs. I got some help and found the final in the evening. There's been some trimming here very recently and I'm surprised the cache is still in place. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Tie-Dyed Coins

By: bullit Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

9:02 am - I checked the right spot after a few minutes, but didn't notice it. Did the rounds and came back to it. Nasty! Thanks.

Public Access

By: Map Geeks (adopted by vaccine) Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

9:58 am - We searched for a few minutes and then MotorBug started whistling. I now know what that means. Lots of place this one could be hidden, but I was expecting something more evil. Thanks.

Sanchez Lagoon #1

By: nlrw Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

1:39 pm - Considering all the DNFs on this one I was surprised when I found this one right away. It looked like it had been undisturbed for a while. Thanks for checking on it. TNLNSL.

Kid Cache

By: ScienceBean Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

1:57 pm - While searching for this one I slipped on an acorn-covered hillside and fell on my a**. Too bad MotorBug missed seeing my fall, I'm sure he would have enjoyed it. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Sanchez Lagoon #2

By: nlrw Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

1:22 pm - Ahem. MotorBug stopped halfway there and decided to start searching for the cache. I think his GPSr is going senile. I talked some sense into him and we found the cache at the posted coordinates. Thanks for the walk.

The Sky's the Limit

By: mjp303 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

2:03 pm - Great view from here. I did lots of hiking, rafting and camping as a scout. Fun times. Thanks for the cache!

Stairway to the Bay

By: vaccine Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:29 pm - I don't know what you mean in the hint - that's where I found it - at least after MotorBug threw it over there. [:D] TNLNSL. Thanks!

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Secret Stairway #1- Meadows Park

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

11:02 am - We were almost thwarted by meddling kids, but managed to find the cache while they were arguing about how to construct their treehouse or something. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Dam the Barbed Wire!

By: Woof! Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

11:46 am - MotorBug and I had a nice walk over to this one though we should have done it on bikes. We found the cache after a few minutes and signed in. Thanks for the visit to a nice spot!

Yumpin' Yimminie Coin Cache Revisited

By: The Owl and The Pussycat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

10:36 am - We didn't quite know how to get here so we took the long way in. Found the cache no problem. I thought I could find a shorter path back, but ended up taking the Boulter Adventure Trail (TM) through a lot of poison oak. Oops. Thanks!

Taylor-Made

By: The Owl and the Pussycat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

12:46 pm - I wish I had noticed the parking hint before! We tried it from a few sides before we got lucky and found the secret trailhead. From there we took the long way down to the cache and the short way back up. MotorBug was nice enough to accompany me for his second visit and help me find the cache. TNLNSL. Very cool park. Thanks!

Child's Play

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I used OneAngryPuppy's coords and found it without incident. Thanks.

Forgotten Stairs

By: Rocket Girl and Duckeylee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

8:25 am - This was the first of a rare morning caching run for me. Found it pretty quickly, too! Thanks.

My First Micro

By: Geo Baby, BuckyDef & WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:12 pm - We did a few laps before we found free parking and walked down then up to the cache. MotorBug called the location from a block away. Amazing!

The Gate Promenade

By: bthomas Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

3:40 pm - Oh man, this one was way confusing for us. We parked at the top, then walked down below. We've never been to the Fort before, so it was a cool place to explore. We didn't understand the clue though, so we hiked back up and on top. The clue there didn't make much sense either. We had a questionable answer for the first clue that matched the checksum. We left finding the cache until later in the day. We had spent so much time on it though that we had to finish it.
On the way home we took a side trip to grab the cache. It put us at a spot that kinda made sense with the clue though we realized afterwards that we shouldn't have even been able to get in there! A call to the owner let us know that we were close and set us straight. I think I get it now. Anyway,
thanks for the tour!

Seize Caesar's Stash!

By: sftriman Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

4:30 pm - Solved this one a while ago and grabbed it on the way back home. When we arrived I knew I was in the right place. Nice job. TNLNSL.

Guns over the Gate

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:55 pm - There was a steady drizzle when we arrived, but it didn't take long to find. We should have gotten this one on the way out to the point, but instead we had to double back and take the one way road in. Thanks.

Dirty Rock

By: Jeremy & Suzanne Faust Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

1:59 pm - Well, we found the closest access point to this one, but definitely not the easiest. SMILIE It was a cool place to hike around though. We found the spot and replaced the cache with a blue chip container for future cachers to find. Took nothing, left cache! Thanks.

Marin Headlands One

Carmelite Santa Clara

By: jdieas347 and Angel827 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

12:00 pm - The description was a bit deceiving to me, so I focused my search elsewhere for a while. Just as I found it, the noon bells started ringing to congratulate me. [:D] Thanks.

More or less is more

3:15 pm - As we're driving to this one, we get stuck behind this guy in the left-turn lane at a traffic signal. He didn't pull up far enough and the signal just keeps going around because it has no idea he's there. He's pissed off because he thinks the light is broken. We finally get bored and go straight instead. Eventually he does the same!
Anyway, we found ourselves at the cache location and looked for a bit. As I'm searching in one spot I hear MotorBug whistling which I interpreted as "look out for that woman walking down the street". I search some more and then he starts gesturing. Ohh, whistling means he found it. Alright, then.
Grabbed the cache, played the log sheet roll-up game and headed off. Thanks.

Excuses, Excuses

By: frivlas and oneangrypuppy Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:26 pm - First I couldn't find the description for this one because I was looking for a cache called "Excess Excess". Geesh. Then I thought it would be a hide of a different type, so I spent a long while searching. Finally did get it and watched MotorBug find it much faster later in the day. Thanks!

Lowdown

By: 2burbacious Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:51 pm - MotorBug had to wait out a couple until we could grab this one. It did give us time to figure out the hide though. Thanks.

End Station - VTA Mystery Cache

By: frivlas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:31 pm - We did the rest of the series a few weeks ago, but ended up at the other end so left the final for another day. MotorBug and I came for a quick visit and I found it right away. I don't remember what number I was, but it looks the numbers 51-60 are claimed except for 57, so that must be me. Thanks!

Los Gatos Creek Park Fall Picnic

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

2 pm - I'm not sure if I was early or late, but a lot of people attended that I never saw! And I didn't even know that Joani had an account with 10 whole finds!
Way too much food as usual, but it was nice to catch up and take a break between mad caching runs. Thanks, everyone!
