Wimbledon West?

By: stbk Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:01 pm - There were lots of people playing today, so I was very grateful that this one was not under any of the seats. Thanks!

AKA Pete Marsh

By: 2blucats Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

11:52 am - It seems to be really hit or miss in finding the right answer to this puzzle. I prefer the ones where you know what you need to do rather than trying dozens of search queries, but these have their merits. Easy placement. Thanks.

Somewhere in Loehmann's Plaza

By: catomcat Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

11:40 am - I spent about a half-hour looking for this one. There were people walking up and down the sidewalk and I felt strange standing in this spot. It was also kinda trashy. Maybe I'll try again another day.

The People Zone III + A Walkway

By: garyhenry Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

1:07 pm - I still don't get the clues here. I used the brute force method that others tried and it worked. Thanks.

A Real Looooong Walkway

By: garyhenry Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:22 pm - I looked a real loooooong time for this one. I almost gave up but spotted it on a last look back.
For such a nice walkway, most people seemed to be walking along the tracks. Thanks!

A Red Bridge Near A Blue Pheasant

By: stbk Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

12:42 pm - DNF #2. Apparently I misunderstood the hint I got after my last DNF and I looked in the wrong place. I'll try again, though I swear I looked in that spot last time. Oh well.

COMMANDO BIRD! Woodland Headquarters

By: chick-n-rock Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

1:19 pm - These crack me up. Thanks for the quick one!

John W. Christian Greenbelt II

By: Team Sars Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

7:05 pm - The other JWC Greenbelt cache was originally placed in a similar fashion to this one. It was quickly muggled. In the fall when there aren't so many leaves, this one will be very visible.
TNLNSL. Thanks.

Lakewood Park

By: ToDi Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

7:41 pm - There was a party going on, so I had to wander in the middle of it to find the first stage.
At the second, we immediately honed in on the right place, but looked and looked without finding it. Meanwhile, a guy from the house across the street was eyeing us. He finally went inside, but then stared at us through binoculars from his living room window. Weird.

We tried a lifeline, but even
that didn't help other to confirm we were looking in the right place. As it was getting dark, I finally spotted the sucker.

A blinker for your first hide? I h
ope the rest are bigger. The difficulty should be moved up a notch IMO.

Cull Canyon (#3?)

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

4:27 pm - Looking for one of these caches was just looking for trouble as our last cache of the day. We scooched down the cliff, avoided more PO and arrived at a nice spot.
While I couldn't see the cache, I managed to find it by the sound of the plastic. I didn't think it was going to be there at all. That was a relief. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Along the De Anza Trail 9 - Los Altos Hills

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

The camo fooled me last time, but this time I walked right up to it. Nicely done. Thanks.

Haunted DugOut

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

9:07 am - I needed help with the puzzle and I needed help with getting to the cache as well. I brought MotorBug for reinforcement, especially since he had the coordinates and I didn't anymore. He helped by finding the cache. I'm not sure I did much of anything for this one. Check. Thanks.

101 TFTs - No Pair

By: winini Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I finally got my hands on two tokens, both with the assistance of MotorBug. These are tough to find!

The Trail to Nowhere . . .

By: archaeor Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:40 pm - This was a pretty steep but short climb. No views, but at least there was a cache and it was an easy find. TNLNSL. Thanks!

C.H.U.D.

By: Mohetka Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

6:12 pm - This cache was bothering MotorBug, so we decided to give it another try together. After searching in all the same places, MotorBug checked another one and spotted it. Nice one.
Now I have a movie to rent, too.

Yeah, I'd say this one isn't wheelchair-accessible! Thanks!

Dinner and a Movie

By: Fremont Claassens Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

9:17 am - MotorBug were on our way to Castro Valley when we noticed this one and decided to make a quick stop. I parked right next to it and left the car running while I made the grab. MotorBug didn't even get out of the car! He left Echo token #202. Thanks.

Portuguese Time Capsule

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

9:44 am - Neat little park. One of the residents was there when we arrived, but she wandered off after she asked MotorBug regarding something about a bus.
We had the right idea for the hide, but it was a little more devious than we imagined so it took a few passes. Thanks.

A Walk In the Park plus 2 (#25)

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

12:39 pm - At the first waypoint, I succesfully used the project waypoint feature on my GPSr. Hooray!
At the second waypoint our coordinates didn't make sense until we read the hint. I don't know why that sort of info would be put in the hint.

We guessed at the third waypoint since there were a bunch of numbers to choose from.

The cache was challenging to get to, but we managed to find the righ
t trail. Nice views. TNLNSL.

Gaging Station

By: Maverix Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:14 pm - We took a longish walk in from the park and MotorBug made the grab here. There seem to be a lot of these benchmarks that aren't benchmarks around. Thanks.

Earl Warren Cache

By: The Navigator 25 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

3:46 pm - Phew, MotorBug and I needed a quick one after a lot of painful caching in the area. This was just the ticket. MotorBug uncovered it and I breathed a sigh of relief. I thought we had been cursed. TNLNSL. Thanks.

The WalruZ and LeChuck

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

10:11 am - Find MotorBug's glasses! Find MotorBug's glasses! That should be the new subtitle of this cache.
We searched for this cache for a while and were coming up empty. I hailed a lifeline on IM and then on the phone. After a while MotorBug notice his glasses were missing. We changed our search objective to the glasse
s and of course while we were looking for his glasses, I found the cache. It was pretty buried.
Unfortunately we never found the glasses. We even came back later in the day to try again, but after an hour or so of searching, we couldn't find them. That was a bummer. We were pretty dirty and nasty when we came out there too. Lots of trash and dust. Yuck.

The Balls of Bay Trees Park

By: archaeor Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:15 pm - Somehow I was right on target for this one and it was the first thing I picked up. Nicely done. Thanks.

Welcome to Castro Valley

By: Maverix Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

10:53 am - MotorBug and I got lost on the way to Japanese Garden and this one was on the way so we decided to grab it. We got it after a minute or two. Thanks.

Lakeridge CITO

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

2:48 pm - After exhausing ourselves in Don Castro with some 3 and 4 star caches, we decided to get our spirits up with a few easy ones. While this one wasn't hard, it wasn't a 1/1 either.
We trashed out some bottles on the lawn on the way out.

CITO at Bay Trees Park

By: F.A.M.E., adopted by SubRosa Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

4:10 pm - Well, we tried the wrong side for this one first. While walking back to the car, I took the low road while MotorBug took the high road. Luckily the gate was open, so I called MotorBug down and we wandered over to the cache.
Whaddya know, we actually found the cache too! TNLNSL. The container is falling apart though and probably should be replaced soon. Thanks.

Tot Lot

By: UPSgirl, adopted by SubRosa Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

11:15 am - Luckily there were no tots around today or we would have felt very strange here.
Someone either had a really big headache or that's not a Tylenol bottle! TNLNSL. Thanks.

Labyrinth G.P.

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:15 pm - It was refreshing to find a nice M
&
J cache out here. A guy who appeared to be maintaining the Labyrinth said hello to us and asked us if were here to walk the labyrinth. No, we're just here to awkwardly sit down in this random spot for a few minutes and leave, thank you.
Quick find. Thanks.

Japanese Garden

By: kemosabe Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

11:03 am - This was a really nice place. We had some trouble finding a way in, but that's a different story. The cache was a quick grab; I think we had the whole park to ourselves except for the guy outside who was riding around on a bike with a small dog in his front basket. Anyhoo, TNLNSL, TFTC!

I Wish I Wuz Fishin'

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

11:34 am - This was our first cache in this park, and one of the few that we were successful with.
I solved it long ago. The outside camo was cracked. Inside it was a bit wet, but that might be appropriate for this cache. [:D] TNLNSL. Thanks.

Trust in Rust

By: homermayor Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:38 pm - Oh man, I spent at least 45 minutes on this one. It took some help from a lifeline to get me looking in the right spot. While I had looked at that spot, I didn't think there was physically space to put a cache there. I guess I was wrong. Phew, that one was tough. I'd give it another star. Thanks.

Medusa

By: PisoMojado Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:45 pm - Neat tree. The cache was kinda exposed when I found it. TNLNSL and hid it a bit better. Thanks.

Ohlone Village

By: PisoMojado Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

4:37 pm - There were some workers nearby, so I had to find an opportune moment to spring for the cache. TNLNSL.
I took this opportunity to finally figure out how to pronounce "Ohlone". I've said it with the e both ways. It's pronounced "oh-low-knee". Gotta remember that. Thanks.

Marsh View Parking

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:28 pm - Yeah, I parked in the Sun lot the last time I was here, too. It's not easy to find a way out of the lot once you're in. It's even harder to find a way back in. I remember I had to walk all the way around.
I got a little turned around finding the parking, worried that I was going to end up going to Fremont if I took a wrong turn. Finally I found the parking lot. Thanks for pointing it out.

I took the Signal the frog token. Somehow I knew it was an M
&
J creation just by looking at it. TFTC.

Marsh View

By: NavySparksandtheMrs Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

6:34 pm - I had a nice walk out here. It's good to know that the Geek cache is still kickin' too.
I got a laugh from Marky's log because I had the same problem. Geobrowns have tokens now too? Geesh. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Bridges of San-star Counties

By: PisoMojado Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

5:59 pm - I was talking to MotorBug and he and Eggplant2 were heading over here. It was next on my list too, so we met there.
I had done the math by the time they arrived, but it's a good thing they double-checked my work because I got some of it wrong.

The cache was nicely hidden and we let one of the eggplants retreive it.

I finally picked up an echo token since I lost the last one. Thanks!

San Francisco Bay Model

By: SuMo Cyclist Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

11:17 am - Our priorities were clear at this cache. MotorBug and I honed in on the cache while Anne headed straight for the model. The model was closed, so nuts to her!
I manged to suss out the camo after a few minutes. Nice hide. Thanks!

East Harbor

By: SuMo Cyclist Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

11:45 am - We couldn't find the guest parking here, so we braved a ticket and parked in a permit spot. It was extra incentive to find the cache quickly.
The houseboats were neat. MotorBug came up with the cache. Nicely done. Thanks.

Cache to Eagle #10

By: mousewiz Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

1:52 pm - MotorBug and I struggled with this one. Anne finally got bored with sitting in the car, so she came over and read the description. That made me question a certain area and I looked to find it in plain sight. I guess MotorBug was checking this area with his eyes closed again. [:D] Thanks!

Thar be treasure thar

By: JohnnyVegas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

3:32 pm - Hee hee, I liked this one. You'd expect that this could be more than a micro inside, but I guess not. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Tamalpais Watches It All

By: Erickson Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

3:48 pm - We had a nice walk out to this one though it was getting late and we were tired and sunburned.
I found the cache OK, left a highligter and took a BKip card.

We let MotorBug play on the swing for a bit and then we told him it was time to go.

Cool spot. Thanks.

No Trespassing Access

By: BKip Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:10 pm - We parked at the mall and took the long way around to the cache. I found it quickly and then we decided to drive to another entrance for the rest. Thanks.

Captain Morgan's Booty

By: cooperphoto Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

2:05 pm - This was a cool place. We missed the entrance of course so we had to drive back around.
The tide was just low enough to get in there without getting wet though it was a bit slippery in spots. MotorBug found the cache and I took his picture. TNLNSL. Thanks.

On the way to Tamalpais Watches It All

By: JohnnyVegas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:39 pm - These ones usually get me, but today I must have had my mojo and I spotted it quick. We signed it and headed off for the last in this area. Thanks.

Tiffany's: An Engaging Place

By: bthomas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:28 pm - Parking was impossible to find up here today, so I idled in a red zone while MotorBug and my better half went for the cache. It didn't take them long. Nice views, thanks.

Niven's Dream Pack Cache

By: tildenm Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

4:35 pm - Anne didn't like being so exposed so she went for a walk while MotorBug and I forged bravely on. He found it quickly. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Richardson Bay 1

By: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

11:24 am - We crawled all around for this one until I read DavidT's log and looked in the obvious spot. There it was! TNLNSL. Thanks.

Richardson Bay 2

By: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

2:26 pm - Wow, that's a nice view. And I'm sure the people that live here don't get lost and drive though the seminary like we did trying to get here. We found the cache OK, admired the view for a minute and headed off TNLNSL. Thanks.

Zen and the Art of the Sea Lion

By: Erickson Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

12:39 pm - Sausalito was a busy place today and parking was at a premium. After a few u-turns, it didn't seem possible so idled in front of someone's garage while MotorBug and my better half went for the cache. It looks like they found it. Thanks for the views.

Funny Bone

By: WRITE SHOP ROBERT Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:17 pm - MotorBug picked one, I picked the other. He got the right bone. Thanks.

Back to School

By: JohnnyVegas Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:09 pm - It was really a hail mary that I found this one as quickly as I did. Thankfully there was no one around to think we looked suspicious. Thanks.

As the Tide Rolls Away

By: SuMo Cyclist Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

1:12 pm - We drove close to this one only to find ourselves accosted by valets. No, just driving through, thank you.
We parked a ways away and optimistically put 30 minutes on the meter.

There were a few people at the first stage which made looking tricky. The best one was the little boy who was pointing and helling "Hey" at MotorBug while he was trying to be stealthy. SMILIE

Later I found the cache and we head
ed over for a walk. On the way we fed the meter some more. The docks were nice and we found the cache without any trouble. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Go Row

By: SuMo Cyclist Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

4:54 pm - Ending the day on a 4/1 was just asking for trouble, but MotorBug and I went for it anyway. We searched for a while before MotorBug produced the cache in a place I least expected. Nicely done. TNLNSL. Thanks.

In-N-Out

By: forman Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:44 pm - There were two workers throwing stuff in the dumpster (or maybe taking stuff out? That stuff's probably healthier), so we had to wait to grab the cache.
Afterwards I went in to get a drink and some fries. It's been a long time since I've had this stuff and it's goooood. Thanks.

Cloudview Cache

By: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

12:03 pm - These were some crazy roads. I'm glad this isn't my commute. Some of the turns my GPSr wanted me to do just didn't seem possible, so we did a little extra driving. Eventually we got there and I found the cache. Cute area. Thanks.

Wig-wag

By: bthomas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:25 pm - Ok, last cache of the day. Really this time.
We zipped by the object of interest and then searched for the cache. We just couldn't find the little bugger and tried all kinds of tricks even when the hint seemed to make it obvious. Finally I found it; I think it had fallen down a little. Whew! Thanks.

Jeopardy: A LooneyTunes Puzzle Cache

By: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

5:13 pm - This one went quicker than we expected, so as we're heading back to the car, I see MotorBug fishing around in some newspaper boxes. The guy actually checks random ones "just in case" there's a puzzle cache in there. I think he needs some help. Thanks for the cache.

They Went Thataway

By: MikieP & Mrs. P Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

10:31 am - We stopped at this one with MotorBug, who had already found it.
The gardens were neat and I have never noticed this statue before. While I knew who the statue was of, I couldn't find anything around that actually identified him.

When we got back to our car to leave, I noticed there was something on my roof. It was MotorBug's lunch! Apparently he put it up the
re and it rode along all the way from Mountain View!

Thanks!

The Lady from Shanghai: A LooneyTunes Movie Cache

By: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

12:22 pm - Since the restaurant was closed, we didn't mind parking in their lot.
We checked the wrong area first, then got the idea and changed our search. MotorBug got there first, but missed the cache. That's a specialized attachment device alright. The cache was pretty damp inside. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Bay Laurel Curve

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

2:41 pm - This was the first cache of the day on these trails. We took the wrong trail at first, so we had to go back. As we got out to the main trail we saw two people coming down the trail. We waited to see who it was and surprisingly it was ProtechCC and chucklesda. Who wouldda thunk? We chatted for a bit and they gave us some tips for the caches ahead.
We found the cache without too much trouble. Some people have been digging in the wrong spot. Thanks!

Arroyo Trailside Cache

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

2:55 pm - No problem on this one. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Arroyo Meadow II

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

3:10 pm - We considered bushwacking, but then found a nice trail up to the meadow. It was an easy find once we got there. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Arroyo Meadow

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

3:36 pm - What should have happened here was that we walked across the meadow to this one from the other meadow cache. Instead we walked partway across the meadow, up a road, right past another cache, and down a ridculous set of switchbacks back onto the meadow.
Once we took care of the cache, we walked up the meadow again to the exact spot where we left the meadow last time. We were going on circles. At least we got some exerci
se. Thanks.

Along the De Anza Trail 9 - Los Altos Hills

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:08 pm - I looked for this one for a while but there was lots of traffic and I felt weird standing here. I was exhausted from a longer than necessary hike in Portola Valley anyway, so I called it a day here.

Along the De Anza Trail 8 - Los Altos

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

1:42 pm - This was quite a busy intersection. I finally got a break in the traffic (I think) and grabbed the cache. Thanks for continuing the series.

Toyon Trail North

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

5:19 pm - This one took us a while to find because the coordinates were all over the place. We walked right by the first spot, then had to wait out some muggles. Realizing we must be in the wrong place, we went back up the trail and found a spot were my GPSr felt agreeable. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Benny Bear

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

1:49 pm - I recognized this sculpture immediately - yet another bit of knowledge I can attribute to Geocaching. The cache was a quick grab. Thanks.

Toyon Trail Junction

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

3:53 pm - This one was kinda confusing to get to. We took a bunch of turns, but finally made our way to the cache. I had the honor of sticking my hand in there to get it. Thanks.

Toyon High Side

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

4:49 pm - Filed under 'F' for fiascos.
We walked by a clearing on the way down the Toyon trail and this cache was only 200 feet away. I ventured over a bit but couldn't see a trail, so we got back on the trail, figuring it would eventually lead us right to it.

When we were .15 miles away I decided that this couldn't be right, so I st
ormed back up the hill and looked for a way in. I ended up bushwacking a bit, but I was less than 100 feet away, so I forged on. I ended up climbing through Poison Oak to get within 20 feet and I had no idea where the cache was.

Finally I saw the frickin trail right in front of me. I crawled down
through more PO.

I had left Anne back at the clearing and by this time I was gone for a long time. I didn't bother looking for the cache, figuring she was already pissed at me for leaving her there. I ran back up the trail to find her waiting
there patiently.
Together we headed back down the trail for my 4th time, then back around to the cache. Thankfully it wasn't hard to find.

Took nothing, left my pride. Thanks.

San Cristobal Mine Cache Redux

By: CKayaks Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

1:01 pm - This mine is always fun to explore. We shined a flashlight in to see a bit further. Nice camo on the cache, too. TNLNSL. Thanks.

It's a Gas

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

12:10 pm - We decided to go for a hike with some friends from out of town, so of course I directed their interest to a park with a few caches I hadn't found yet. [:D]
On the way in, we went by a group on wildflower tour. I was surprised when one of them knew my name. It was Kenny162. We chatted for a bit and then continued on our hike.

I thought this was going to be at the big metal thing which I though was a gas works, but I was informed was a rotating furna
ce.

It was easy enough when we got there anyway. I took a calpidder sig item and left uturn #25. Thanks!

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Micro

Looks like I forgot to log this one! I can prove I was there by the fact that I'm in the picture.

Hotel Beacon

By: CALHUNTER Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

1:09 pm - Nice construction on this one! Quick find. Thanks!

Haunted DugOut

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

9:48 am - The owner set me straight on the puzzle, but I couldn't find the cache. Mostly I just couldn't find a way in. I'm not sure I'm supposed to be in there anyway.

Bay Area Backroads, the Puzzle

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

1:29 pm - This was one of those puzzles where solution was immediately obvious to Anne and I though I understand that it wouldn't be for many people.
I loved the placement! I took the Kablooey cache coin #88 and the goldminers sig item. I left a stencil and uturn #18.

Oh and if the video doesn't play, try downloading that latest version of Windows Media Player.

Saint Joseph's 36th Birthday Cake

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

10:20 am - This was a neat old cemetary. I found Otto before I knew what I was looking for and did the simple math. The cache was easy to find as well. I left a calculator. Thanks!

NUMMI ?S REAREND

By: CALHUNTER Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

9:48 am - This one was very quick - I left the car idling. I left a calculator and took nothing. Thanks!

Valentine's Day: Love Notes

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

2:03 pm - I almost crossed the stream, thinking it was necessary to find the cache. Good thing I didn't as it was flowing pretty well today. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Mission District Mini

By: CALHUNTER Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

10:28 am - I had to make a few passes before I found this one. So many possibilities! TNLNSL. Thanks.

Mission District Micro #2

By: CALHUNTER Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

10:36 am - I drove right up to this one too. Good think I've seen lots of these before. Thanks!

Tamarack Gate

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

2:18 pm - For some reason I can never find this gate. I parked where I parked last time I was here, which is on May Rd.
The funny thing was that there was a EBRPD sign that said "Meyers Estate Parking" near the end of the road, so I followed it up the open gate of a fire road. That led me to a field of nothing up a hill, so I turned around.

There was anoter gate with cars parked behind it, but since the gate was
down, I decided not to go in there. Good thing too - when I got back the gate was locked and all the cars were gone.

The trickiest part about finding the cache was avoiding all the fresh cow patties. I tried to take a different way out and ended up at a dead end with guy playing guitar in the woods
.

Anyway, maybe I should park here next time. Thanks.

Mission District Micro #1

By: CALHUNTER Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

10:07 am - This one was really stuck in there. I got the log out first and then finally the container. I think the coin fell out and I couldn't find on the ground. TNLNSL. Thanks.

IT AIN'T MAIL

By: CALHUNTER Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

10:01 am - This one took me a while to find. The thing was that it wasn't even hidden all that much, which wasn't what what I was expected.
As I was retreiving a cache, a guy appeared behind me and asked me if I was "collecting bees." I explained to him geocaching to which he responded "people must have a lot of time". I guess I do. [8D]

TNLNSL. Thanks.

Ohlone College 101

By: CDNinCA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

12:20 pm - I didn't quite take the right path to this one from Tired of the Fremont Drive-bys, so I had to do a little backtracking up the hill. It took me a long time to find. When I did spot it I felt pretty dumb as it was right out in the open. When I opened it, the pencil fell out and into the crevase. I looked for it, but couldn't find it. Sorry. TFTC!

A Kick in the Shinn

By: Blanston12 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

1:01 pm - Wasn't there a cache in the park across from this place? Anyway, I've never been in here, so it was a nice excuse for a walk inside.
I tried the old coords first then looked up the cache page to see they had been corrected. Didn't take me long to find it near that cool tree. Thanks!

Comp your Cache

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:55 pm - I solved this one so long ago I don't have the foggiest idea of how I did it. My coordinates were good though. The cache was very wet inside and I didn't have a baggue with me. Thanks.

Orisom Overlook

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

11:27 am - I hadn't been to the parking area at Ohlone College before. I was about to get out of my car when the guy next to me informed me that I parked here I would get a ticket just like he did. The signs were not very obvious. Thanks, random guy!
I missed the entrance to the trail and ended up walking up a drainage canal and then crawling up a gate.

After some big hills, I missed the entrance to the hill from the trail, so I had to crawl under a cattle gate. Then I did it two more times after that because I thought the next caches were ba
ck on the trail. Oops.

On my way up the hill I went by some guys on horses doing an honest-to-goodness cattle roundup, complete with "Hee-yaa!"s.

I had no problem spotting the cache and TNLNSL. Thanks for the view.

Forbidden Bridge?

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:04 pm - Geez, perhaps they should add a few more warnings to this bridge? I get the idea that they don't want you in there. Quick find. Thanks.

Tired of the Fremont Drive-by Micro's?

By: archaeor Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

11:52 am - I did some micros in Fremont before this one. By the time I got here, I was just plain tired from all the climing.
I thought I was all the way up when I did Orison Overlook, but I had to go down and the back up for this one. Gotta love those cow trails though - they saved me a lot of elevation change.

I left uturn #15 and took Blanston12 Steve Martin Button #133. Thanks!
