Zeno's Paradox

By: Chris & Janet Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

8:50 am - DNF #3. I spent a good half-hour looking, but came up empty-handed. My coordinates were confirmed with mmp who confirmed them with the owners.
There's quite a few places to look for a micro in this area within reasonable GPS accuracy, even excluding the ivy.

If the difficulty of this cache is supposed to be in solving the puzzle and not in locating the micro, then a descriptive hint would be helpful. I did find a secret walkway though
which at least made the trip in shorter.

Bodega Bird Walk

By: BKip Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

2:31 pm - Hey, thanks for the nice walk. We only had to wait for a kid and his parents to move along to grab the well-camo'd cache. We took the ellenbarger crew token. Thanks!

Bigger View

By: BKip Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

12:57 pm - Nice camo job on this one! I almost missed it. There were lots of people whale watching today, but there no whales. Does that still count as whale watching then? TNLNSL. Thanks.

Bob's Birthday Bache

By: mootman Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

1:04 pm - There was a couple nearby, so I had to carefully remove the rocks to extract the cache. Great view up here on this clear day. TNLNSL. TFTC!

One Rock, Two Rock, ........

By: bykenut Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

4:50 pm - We were "done" caching for the day and on the road home as this one came up.
A multi? Nah, gotta get home. Done caching. Hey what's that sign? I gotta check it out. Hey, I guess this cache isn't that hard at all and when am I gonna be on this road again anyway?

We had to turn around to grab the cache but it was quick. TNLNSL. Thanks, bykenut, I didn't expect to see one of
your caches out here. That's one long bike ride from San Jose!

Blooming Cachers

By: Haicoole, with the Petaluma Navy Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:34 pm - This was a pretty spot on the way home. I made the quick walk out to the site and found the cache easily. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Bodega Dunes Challenge

By: Daffodil & Annapress Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

1:53 pm - This was a good challenge. The first challenge was finding good parking. We were up at the campground for some other caches, but wanted to get closer, so we drove down by the horse parking lot.
That still seemed a ways away, so we looked for something closer, but ended up hitting the caches on the head and then coming back later. We parked at the horse parking area.

A short way into our hike we nearly got run over by a horse. Lesson learned - do not stand between a horse and a water tr
ough. This horse (and his rider) came gallopping towards us and we had to jump out of of the way.

The rest of the trip was less eventful, but we had to bushwhack through sharp grass at several points.

We found the cache in good shape, with everything dry inside the bags. We took the Dano Buseter
TB.

We found a different trail on the way out and we found a much closer place to start at N38 20.101 W123 03.711.

Thanks for the nice walk!

Children's chimes

By: Haicoole With T Mad Max Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

11:22 am - Wow, I've never seen coordinates .10 miles away before! I used SKWERL's and found the cache, albeit via a very roundabout route.
We were walking back to the car following the posted coords when I entered the new ones and had to turn back.

The cache was pretty soaked inside, but the log was signable. I took the pocket knife because it was rusting and shouldn't be in a cache to begin with. Thanks.

MERMAID

By: The Crinklys Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

11 am - We found this mermaid sculpture in Sebastapol, CA on the way to Bodega bay. She's part of a collection of metal sculptures on this funky street.

Green Bells

By: Karin S Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

11:06 am - Very meaningful spot. The cache was easy to find and we TNLNSL. Thanks.

Special Sebastopol Sculptures

By: Karin S Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

10:19 am - This was really cool. We had fun walking up and down the street and looking at the interesting art. Thanks for showing us this spot!

The Fourth Dwarf

By: Haicoole Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

3:08 pm - This was a great beach to take a walk on today, even if it did cost us $4. I consider it a donation to a worthy cause. :-)
I wasn't even aware of this series. I'll have to start getting the rest when I'm up in the North Bay. TNLNSL. Thanks!

The Hole in the Head

By: roadcow Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

11:42 am - Huh, I never would have guessed why the hole was there. It was a nice day to be out looking across the bay. Thanks.

Rabbit Eye View

By: Rich Gibson,Maintained by Forman Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Large

12:23 pm - It's great to see a 4-year old cache still kickin' around. And it's a big one to boot. This is the oldest cache I've done so far.
I took a techermom pencil and left a cool jawbone I found on the hill. Thanks!

Along the De Anza Trail 7 - Embarcadero

By: MotorBug (a series by Marky & Joani) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:33 pm - Second try on this one, and this time was without all the kids and parents.
I looked where MotorBug suggested, but found no cache.

Fun and Friendship Set to Music

By: CTomGeo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

4:45 pm - My last experience with square dancing was sometime in grade school. We did some square dancing in gym and had to do some kind of performance at the end of the year. All I remember from that was the two girls on either side of me were taller than me and would often swing me freely between them.
With that in mind, how appropriate that I'm the only one to DNF this cache and twice at that!

Anyway, I finally got the coordinates right and found the cache easily. I felt pretty exposed grabbing it though as there was nowhere really to go with it. TNLNSL. Thanks for the learnin'.

Signs of Life

By: BootyHunters Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

5:14 pm - I haven't been here in a long time. The last was when I visited the donkeys for another cache.
Where did these signs come from? Were they placed for the cache?

I had a nice walk between the waypoints, with enough time inbetween to enter them all.

Clue #5 appears to be missing but it looks like that has been corrected in the last few hours. I made a guess which turned out to be correct, bu
t it's not the same number as the new clue #5. Error?

The cache was very visible, so I tried to cover it up a bit more. TNLNSL.

On the way out, I passed a bunch of sheep, goats and even a duck. It's a regular farm out here! Thanks.

Margarita Trail

By: Sharkz Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

5:30 pm - Today was a regular trip down caching memory lane. First it was the donkeys, then this trail. I remember doing one of the Border Patrol caches here a long time ago and running into Bykenut. I think I even parked in the same place. Quick find while there was a break in traffic. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Northwood Sign Only

By: GeoBrowns Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:08 am - A geobrowns cache is always good for at least one DNF. Here's my first.
I felt pretty uncomfortable here, standing in the rain while kids and parents walked by to the nearby school.

I'll try again some other time and hopefully by then geobrowns will get over their fear of hints. :-)

The Man in the Middle

By: trode Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

8:56 am - This one made absolutely no sense to me at first. I got a hint after the CITO cache of the general theme and that was pretty much all I needed. Some of them are up for interpretation, but I was able to confirm my coordinates.
I expected the cache to be somewhere else near here, but the location was fine and mostly deserted this morning, which was helpful. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Sinnott Park

By: manoffire527 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

8:26 am - I arrived in the rain to find someone running around the park. I went over to where the cache would be and the runner stopped close by and started doing Tai Chi. I stood there for a while and waited. Then park maintenance people drove through. Finally I think the Tai Chier and I decided to ignore each other, so I started looking.
My there's a lot of trash here. I found it after lifting up some wet juniper. TNLNSL.

Along the De Anza Trail 7 - Embarcadero

By: MotorBug (a series by Marky & Joani) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:20 am - This was just about the worst possible time to try this one. There were kids and parents everywhere. I checked a few obvious spots while trying not to look threatening especially to the crossing guard.
I was feeling up a sewer grate when I heard a mom say to her curious kid "well he's working on... I don't know what he's doing."

I'll come back some other time!

Fun and Friendship Set to Music

By: CTomGeo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

8:42 am - I fixed some of my answers and thought I had it all right. Some of them were pretty tricky.
I found myself in a much more likely place this morning, but there was a sign that said private property. I wasn't sure about that so I waited at least until the cop parked across the street left and tried it out anyway. No cache. I left. On the way out I noticed a place that would have fit the th
eme well but didn't explore it.

Later that day I looked at my coordinates again and I realized I hadn't corrected all of the digits with my new answers. Agggh! And the coordinates put me right in the place where I parked and noticed! I better get this one next time...

Crossings Circle

By: RodnSon Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

8:26 am - Well amazingly the cache is still there and in good shape. Maybe the spanish label is helping. It's in interesting social experiment to see how long this one will stay. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Fun and Friendship Set to Music

By: CTomGeo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

8:39 am - I found the answers pretty quickly and felt pretty confident in my answers. I went out today searching for the cache and found myself in the middle of a residential neigborhood. I stood there stupidly for a minute and then decided I must have gotten some of the answers wrong.

Portkey

By: zapboy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:11 am - Cute lil' cache. Needed the hint. Thanks!

Earth Red

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

9:04 am - I made this one a brisk walk. It took me a long time to spot the cache and I almost gave up as I was running late for work.
Finally I spotted it. I probably missed it because the sun was in my eyes from that angle. It was tough even though I knew exactly what kind of container I was looking for. Thanks for the challenge.

We chose poorly

By: mfc61 and The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro

10:27 am - We chose the right path to get up here and we searched for quite a while before I finally turned up the cache. Thanks for sharing your lesson learned.

Nob Hill

By: stbk Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

12:38 pm - Boy, I'm really liking this hiking stick. I used it to fish out the cache without touching any of the PO. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Is this the beginning or the end?

By: Sharkz & bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

9:56 am - I got out to start our hike here, but digitalfish heard of a closer spot. We found the cache quickly and got back into the car. Many more caches to come! Thanks.

Maisie's Peak

By: Sharkz & bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

12:23 pm - I had been up here once before for a cache that had gone missing. Today I had better luck. This was a tough hide; well-hidden.
I took a pen and left a carabiner light and signature item.

As we left the fog was finally clearing - hooray! TFTC.

PG & E 118

By: Sharkz & bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

11:08 am - On the way to this one we ran into popeye2. Always nice to run into other caches on the trail.
This trail sure excels at going up. Personally I prefer the up parts to end sooner, so I tend to speed up on them.

It was still pretty foggy up here, but we found the cache without much trouble. TNLNSL. Thanks.

By: bullit & Sharkz Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Micro

12:05 pm - Yeah, we got about a 35 degree view today as the fog was still clearing. Nice spot though. Thanks.

Bee Sting

By: bullit & Sharkz Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

11:55 am - It wasn't a difficult hide for me, especially since digitalfish found it! We only had to wait for a group of hikers to pass before we grabbed it. TNLNSL. Thanks.

No Brakes!

By: bullit & Sharkz Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

11:53 am - I had an ammo box in my pack that was dying to get out, so we headed down the dead end trail to place one.
When we got back, one of the fish was talking with ckayaks who I hadn't met before. Soon popeye2 caught up with us again. It was a regular event up there.

I signed the log and we continued on our hike. Thanks!

Stevens Creek Spillway

By: bullit & Sharkz Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

10:14 am - I had never been to this side of the dam. We debated for a while about where the cache would be but made the right choice eventually. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Khachkar

By: 2blucats Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

3:38 pm - Somehow I entered the coordinates wrong and ended up on the wrong side of the highway. After I corrected my coords, I found the Khackar. This is a beautiful piece!
I drove over to the second waypoint and after I waited for some muggles to pass I went for the cache. It was well-hidden and I almost found it by accident. TNLNSL.

Thanks for the vocabulary lesson!

Reservoir Junction

By: jabberwocky & family Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

10:49 am - We weren't sure where we were supposed go for this one, but eventually one of the fish spotted the cache. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Mount Busy

By: stbk & sons Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

3:02 pm - After 9 miles of hiking in Stevens Creek/Fremont Older, I was pretty tired, but this was the only one left in the area and I had to grab it.
I remember this area well from several other caches. It was a steep but short hike up with some extra challenge due to the muddy terrain.

Maybe this place should be called Mt. Boozy by the number of empties around here.

The cache wasn't too hard. As I signed I noticed a tick looking for a tast
y part of my leg. I hate ticks. Left a signature item and stumbled back to the car. Thanks.

Terrain Challenge 4

By: popeye2 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

2:03 pm - We ran into popeye2 not one or two, but three times today. On the third meeting, they offered a hint on this one. We headed towards it and took the trail they suggested (I think). We still had to cross some interesting terrain to get there. It was a nice spot. TNLNSL. We took another route out which seemed a bit easier. Thanks.

WG Portal

By: stbk Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:59 pm - Interesting spot. I was thinking of another portal as well. I wonder if that spot is available for a cache?
Anyway, Anne was happy to find a family of her size. We found the cache in the "right" place. Thanks!

CITO at the Workshop

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

12:30 pm - We had a lot of fun at the event. The workshop is always an interesting place to visit. We CITOed at some caches on the way home. Thanks!

CITO at the Workshop

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

2:34 pm - Someone mentioned there was a cache somewhere and I looked a bit but didn't find it. Later, when I had completely forgotten about it, I spotted it and signed the log. It looks like I'm going to be seeing a lot more of these.

SC-6 - Mary Gomez, once again

By: nostrada (adopted by Bughound) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:17 pm - I'm back again for this one, this time with backup. Anne saw the spot that I missed before and I grabbed the cache. Almost got this series done now. Thanks.

A Summer Bummer

By: CaliCoe Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:46 pm - Yikes, this was a toughy. I called a lifeline to confirm my theories and then I stumbled upon it. Nicely done. TNLNSL. Thanks.

Ultimate Battleship: Branham Memorial

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:47 pm - We hit this one "on the way home" from the CITO event. I solved it a while ago.
Maybe there would have been some more hits if not for one of the objects on the right of the picture. :-)

Quick find after we found the right place to park. Thanks.

That is your story?

By: nostrada (adopted by OneAngryPuppy and Frivla Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:58 pm - Quick find, at least after we did 2 u-turns and parked in the wrong spot.
February 11, 2004 by Seek or Swim
This one is so close to home that I walked here. My story: See those trees? This is the location of the original Keebler elves' bakery. The structure is where they sold their goodies -- until they went big time and moved their production facilities to a much large
r grove and changed their distribution channel from this roadside stand to nationwide groceries.

Everyone knows that the Keebler elves bake in a hollow tree. I don't see any hollow trees big enough for baking around here. Plus, the elve's website lists their address as One Hollow Tree Lane, Elmhurs
t, IL. That's a couple of thousand miles away and way too far for elves to walk.

Cookie Crumb

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:07 pm - It took me a while to find this one even though I had seen one earlier in the day and it was right in front of me.
I did some CITO here before we took off

I guess Lemon Pastry Cremes are my favorite. Thanks!

By: nostrada Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:30 am - Gaaah! I DNF'd one of these! I thought I had the right place according to the hint, but I guess not. It's probably fitting because I DNF'd the original cache in this park a long time ago. Let's see... I think I'll blame the coords. Yeah, that'll do.

Clunky Coplanar #59

By: 4wheeler Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I finally went over and grabbed it and it was indeed the cache, but the film can was missing. I called the owner and got permission to replace it, but unfortunately I couldn't find a spare log in my bag.
Thanks for the swampy fun!

SC-2 - Villa Locationless

By: nostrada (maintained by shadow101) Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

8:23 am - Nice house and the hide was exactly where I would have hidden it. Thanks.

POWER Lunch

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:40 am - Too easy! With all the hints and title it was a quick grab. Excellent camo. I brought a bag but it was pretty quiet in the area so I didn't need it. Thanks.

John, the Holy Man

By: spyder woman Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:57 am - Bizarre puzzle. I thought I had the right place worked out from my couch, but on closer inspection I realized it didn't make as much sense as I first thought.
I headed out this morning towards that general area anyway with the encouragement of other cachers and I found what seemed like could be the object in question quickly, but wasn't sure, so I drove around some more. I've seen some other interesting versions of these in Mountain View somewhere.

Wh
ile I was driving I found a spot that matched the hint, so I pulled over and started searching. My projection was a bit sloppy, so I mostly found it through brute force. Thanks for the different kind of puzzle.

Get Smart

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:20 am - I expected this one to be in this area, but not all the way in there! Classic WeBeDnD puzzle and hide. I really should have brought some stuff to leave as I frequent this place often. THanks!

Sunday Soccer

By: zapboy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

8:30 am - I didn't know about this section of the trail. I arrived during a break in the rain, but that didn't keep me from getting wet. Rain was steadily dripping off the redwoods. It took me a while to find the cache. One of the logs got me thinking in a different way and there it was. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Why?

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

8:48 am - I didn't even need the GPSr for this one! Maybe it's there to make sure that nice fence is protected or perhaps they just had an extra. :-) One of my caches is actually in a very similar inexplicable spot. Quick find. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Google Falls

By: MadDad (maintained by bullit) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

8:19 am - I was trying to head towards some other caches, but my GPSr routed me weird and I decided to head up 101 instead. I happened to nice this new cache before I left, so I headed over to it as it was closest.
I did a few laps before I found a parking spot that wasn't really a parking spot, but good enoug for the short time I would be there. I hadn't looked at the cache difficulty, so I found it in the first place I looked.

Thanks for the generous FTF prize! I blew it all on Krispy Kremes shortly ther
eafter. :-)

I remember doing a cache here back when it was still SGI. That company sure had its day. I wonder how long Google's will last. Thanks.

As far as we could go!

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

8:49 am - Well, the trail was pretty muddy, but not quite flooded. Then again, it would start raining again soon, so it might be inacessable yet again soon.
Quick find. TFTC!

At What Cost?

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

8:32 am - It took longer to find parking than than to find the cache. After the find I doubled back and got some Krispy Kremes. Yum.
Funny, for some reason I thought this was a WeBeDnD cache. [:D] Thanks!

Mom's Wild Ride

By: The Owl and The Pussycat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

12:20 pm - We parked in the wrong place for this one at first and turned around after walking a few hundred feet. It was a cool spot though, so I decided to place a cache there!
After that we headed over to the right place to park. We had a nice walk out to the point and found the cache. I think this is the last one of the series for me, so I'm looking forward to finding edward's nonsense and seeing what these are all about.

We had a nice view of the airport from here. W
e did the full loop around the point, avoidig the flooded parts of the trail, geese and sand pipers on the way back. Thanks for the ncie walk!

Oyster Point

By: mjp303 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

1:45 pm - Oops, I think you forgot to update the coordinates.
We searched the unstable rocks for a long time before the hint clicked and I realized it couldn't be there.

I found it in the second logical place I looked after that. Thanks.

Point San Bruno

By: mjp303 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

1:09 pm - This was a cool point. It looks like they've been doing a lot work here as the tables and trash cans seemed brand new. The cache was an easy find. Thanks.

Hill Sign

By: ibenthere Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

3:18 pm - I'm not clear how the first waypoint relates to the Hill Sign, but it was easy enough and we were on our way up the hill.
It would be cool to live in one of these houses. When people ask for directions, you could just tell them you lived in the green house under the big Y. [:D]

The hike was short and steep as advertised. There are some great views up here. We found the cache without any problems, but I confused the
construction paper book for the log book at first and wasn't sure what was going on. SMILIE

I took the more
direct route down while Anne went back the easy way. Thanks for bringing us up here. Now whenever we look up at the sign we can say "we've been there!"

Sierra Point Surprise

By: SacredPhish Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

2:27 pm - Pretty spot. After several unsuccessful minutes of searching, I went for the hint. I still didn't find it until I took it a little less literally. It was pretty easy to spot once you're in the right place. TNLNSL. We took a walk on the pier on the way out. TFTC!

Everyone Knows It's Windy

By: mtn-man Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

12:54 pm - I've always wondered what this thing was. We drive around for a while before we spotted the entrance.
We got all the required information and waited around but I guess it just wasn't windy enough today because we didn't hear anything. Bummer. That's ironic because it's been windy and rainy all week. Oh well. Thanks for the cache.

Free WiFi #1

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:04 pm - It was raining a lot when I arrived, so it was just a quick park 'n grab. I didn't know the President had his own hotel chain! [:D] Thanks.

Mystery Park and Ride - Milpitas

By: bykenut Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

11:42 am - Would it hurt to put up a sign? Geez. The overpass made it tricky to figure out the right one, but eventually I found it. Thanks.

Outdoor Warning

By: bullit Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

11:24 am - I was expecting something tricky, so I went for something that looked like it wasn't a cache and found it immediately! I signed the log and put it pack. I wasn't quite sure if I put it back right, but it seemed to stay. I hope I didn't cause it to fall, but it seems that all's well now. Thanks!

Another Landing

By: DavidT21 & Fisherwoman Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

11:55 am - Have you ever had a Cow's Tail? I got some of these caramel creme candy things for Christmas and bit into one just as I arrived at this cache. Damn, they're good!
Tricky hide, but I found it pretty quickly, allowing me to go back to the car and get me some more of that Cow's Tail. Yum! Thanks.

No Stinkin' Tolls

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

1:47 pm - it took some help from the owner to get the right info for this one. Some of it was tricky.
I took the high road to the cache and found it quickly. It was kinda damp inside, but what wasn't after all this recent rain? Thanks.

Whimsical Wonders

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

2:20 pm - It was a tough day to be out caching with all the rain, which was a good indication that I should probably just go home. It was pouring rain as I pulled into the parking lot. I searched around in the car for an umbrella but found none. I shrugged and went out anyway.
I found the cache OK, then tried to get into it without getting myself or the cache wet.

I decided to draw what I wanted to be at that very moment - an Aquacacher - complete with waterproof skin and webbed feet. I would have added more detail, but I was already getting the log book wet and I did
n't want to destroy any of the great creations already in the book.

TNLNSL. Thanks for the neat cache. Hey, didn't bykenut used to have a cache really close to here?

Don Edwards Multi

By: Blanston12 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

1:57 pm - I had seen this place one before on a bike ride around Coyote Hills, but never stopped to take look. Neat place! I did the loop around, and learned some interesting stuff.
The visitor center was closed though, so I was worried about that. I used the checksum instead and found the right spot.

Just as I reached the cache, it started to downpour. Oh well, I had a few dry hours.

I took a magnetic micro and left a bendy guy. Thanks!

Licau II

By: WalruZ (with props to Lil Devil) Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

12:29 pm - I came back to give this one a more thorough look and came up empty. When I got desperate I called MotorBug who had found it a while ago. Even with his help, I couldn't find it. I did get a nice memory of my last trip with a good amount of fresh mud on my shoes.
Perhaps this one needs a checkup as it hasn't had a successful find in two months.

Bendo Hunt

By: Bendo Family; online help by solid-rock-seeke Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

1:34 pm - I was out with j/slice doing a little caching and this one was close by, so we headed out after grabbing some Dunkin's.
We really didn't know what we were looking for at the first stage. We looked around a long time before we spotted the bendo, in plain sight of course.

The second stage was more straighforward with j/slice making the find.

The final cache was elusive as well, but eventually I found it. The cache
was pretty wet inside, but mostly in good shape. TNLNSL. Thanks!
